Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy before deciding whether to pursue criminal charges against a Houston woman who apparently induced an abortion and then discarded the 5-month-old fetus in a relative's trash can.
Bleeding heavily after delivery, the 29-year-old woman showed up at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital on Wednesday and told an emergency-room nurse what had happened. The nurse called police, who dispatched officers to recover the fetus, which the woman said she had wrapped in a blanket.

No charges have been filed in the case because it is unknown whether the fetus was alive or viable at the time of birth, Racus said. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will perform an autopsy in an attempt to determine the extent of fetal development. Doctors at the hospital estimated the woman had been between about 20 and 25 weeks pregnant, Racus said.

This incident points out the lunacy of the pro-choice crowd. So what if the mother tossed her fetus out? Even if it happened to be alive when born, babies who survive an abortion are typically left to die (President Obama endorsed this himself). If the value of a baby’s life is entirely dependent on the mother’s choice, then all this mother has to do is say she decided, an instant before it came out, that she didn’t want it, right? And really, what’s the big deal about whether the baby is in or out of the birth canal when that choice is made. I mean, shouldn’t there be a grace period after birth for the mother to make up her mind? After all, it’s her choice, right?

Aborting a 5 month old fetus is so cruel and inhuman, it makes me really sad. The fetus feels the same pain as any one else.

Anyone who is pro-choice and feigns outrage over this is hypocritical at best. I have a feeling that their only outrage is that killing a baby is ever considered a crime.

This induced abortion thing may have been what he had in mind.
If she was pregnant, it was a baby and not a fetus.

Understand that she decided to abort after she found out the father of the baby would not help her financially. Baby estimated to be 22-26 weeks old. Public sentiment, including from other Hispanics who were interviewed, is very much against the young lady.
Baby was not found during the initial search because the girl had given a bogus address and the search teams were looking totally in the wrong part of the city. Very angry comments by a whole lot of people.
Considering that Houston is a sanctuary city with a Gay Mayor and a Chief of Police who totally supports Obama, chances are nothing will happen to her.
Finally some one gets it. That collection of cells would have contributed unbelievable levels of carbon and hastened the destruction of the planet. This way, “IT” is contributing to a sustainable population.

Of course a couple weeks back, there were a number of idiots saying we must accept this as long as it results in votes for the GOP. No joke or /s about it.
Its sad that even some conservatives have been using the term fetus and not baby....No once called a growing baby a fetus when I was a young woman.....so I call on all conservatives to stop using that term unless necessary, I caught myself saying it and realized how quickly we use the enemys words to describe baby.
