(CBS News) Just weeks after the 100th anniversary of President Richard Nixon's birth, a new exhibit at his presidential library is raising eyebrows. It contains newly declassified documents that reveal Nixon's correspondence with President Bill Clinton, and a surprisingly warm relationship between the two.
The correspondence includes a personal, handwritten letter from Nixon congratulating Clinton on surviving a tough primary and general election to win the White House. That letter was the beginning of an unlikely union between the former Republican president and the newly elected Democratic chief executive.

Perhaps you’ll go back and look at a few calendars. Check out specifically the date of Nixon’s death and the date of Clinton’s impeachment.
A year before Nixon’s investigations of Hiss as a member of the HUAC, he was the only Western-US member of the so-called Herter Committee. Christian Herter had married into Standard Oil money and was in the meeting in 1919 that resulted in the Council on Foreign Relations, the new world order’s mechanism for controlling US foreign policy. Nixon, therefore, was a close associate of this key NWO operater, Herter, prior to HUAC investigations. Thus Nixon’s political career, after coming under the “mentorship” of NWO, took off.
Herter Committee members, including Nixon, successfully pressed for passage of the NWO’s Marshall Plan. A key part of getting public support for the plan was arousing anti-Communist Christian America, which helped to foster the illusion that the NWO “eastern establishment” was “conservative”. Nixon’s efforts during this time helped to build his credibility as a conservative.
Of course, once elected President, Nixon dutifully appointed CFR / NWO men who had been around for decades for mostly all his key advisory posts and allowed them to continue to use the State Dept and CIA as virtual extensions of their NWO organizations.
Yes, I know what it is, and even how it came about.
Freeman called for the Negative Income Tax to replace all other welfare systems. That's not what Nixon and congress eventually did.
Go to the link above to see Dr. Freeman debating it with Wm. F. Buckley back in 1968.
“Gee, Bill, if only I had thought to dig in my heels and unleash a barrage of merciless attacks on my accusers like you did.”
You have all been “educated” by the liberal media. They hated Nixon and destroyed his Presidency because he went after Communists.
How can you doubt it?
That said. Nixon was a liberal. Back in those days, each party had both liberal and conservative members.
What you think you know about Nixon is not true - consider the source.
Indeed I did.
Understood, but you (a most likely conservative) know how how the freemarket works... there is no substitute for free-market capitalism, and if these low information voting "I gats MAH money" breeder sows and slack-jawed yokels want to ignorantly opt to mash the "I need cash now" button, so they can go get some bath salts and a Pittsburgh Steelers logo tattoo on their tit... SO BE IT! <---(Fool) (Money)---> What infuriates me is that these people are allowed to vote (poorly).... and breed (poorly).
My mistake. Didn’t realize Nixon had been gone that long. ;-)
