Wow! As we strive for a truly colorblind society, it's quite apparent that the ones who hold us back are the ones who scream the loudest about equality. Those on the left blast those on the right, because we just want to recognize people for what they do, not what skin color they have. But, just like Barack Obama plays the race card over and over again, we have another example to point to. This time, it's an elementary school in Denver that offers a tutoring program... unless you are white.
As reported by Denver's CBS 4, the tutoring program at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora has come under fire, because it was not designed, nor did it welcome, all kids. If your child was white and needed tutoring, you were out of luck.
Here's the comments from one of the parents:
“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups,” said parent Nicole Cox, who is white.
Cox’s 10-year-old daughter needs tutoring. After receiving the notice, other parents complained to the school’s principal, Andre Pearson.
“We have come so far in all of these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally … this is a form of bullying,” Cox said.
The school district is blaming the principal for this program, but how could it have even gotten this far? Nobody spoke up at all?
This is breathtaking in its stupidity. Is it such a hard concept to help a child... period? Does there always need to be an emphasis put on race? Just stop it now!

Update -- Most likely due to the negative reaction and outrage from parents, the principal has now "clarified" his remarks in a new letter. Despite the fact that the initial announcement stated the tutoring program was only available to children "of color," the principal now says it's open to all.
The letter reads in part, “I want to express my regret for the communication sent last Friday describing the PASS tutoring program.”
It also states, “… the tutoring program is open for all students, regardless of race/ethnicity, and on a first come, first served basis. As your child’s principal, I am equally concerned about the success of all students who attend our wonderfully diverse school.”
Regret for the "communication?" How about regret for a program designed to exclude certain children!?
Minorities in positions of power sometimes brazenly discriminate against whites because they have an ax to grind and are not held to the same standard as whites when discrimination is the issue.
Some minorities, especially blacks believe that they cannot be guilty of discrimination, only discriminated against. This is an outrageously stupid mindset stoked up by the Progressive movement
My brother tells me the “hispanic” woman who runs the local health and welfare office in his little town blatantly tells white people their services are for “her” people.
Get that man away from the white children...
In "license to teach" school, the concept that only white people can be racist is part of the curriculum.
Discrimination against whites became obvious to me back in the service ('Nam era).
I feared the day when they took power - can you say internment camp - I knew you could.

They really believe the horse$h!+ about White Privilege. They think that all “Whites” are rich and have special advantages over non-Whites.
There is a privilege. It’s having had 2 parents, one of each sex, who worked their a$$e$ off and cared for their kids. That’s a privilege that certain classes don’t have, and no amount of race-based privileges and “affirmative action” is going to fix it.

This is only news because they dared to discriminate against white girls; if it had been limited to white boys you wouldn’t hear anything about it. It is already done in higher education and the workforce (not just the gubmint workers), and everyone except white guys is quite OK with that.
As the white American middle class collapses, watch their failed businesses re-open with government grants for minority/women owned businesses (funded with the tax dollars those white guys had sucked out of their pockets for years). The wealth re-distribution of which Obama is accused started long before him, on the watch of white American male presidents; it has been approved by the Supreme Court, and the country has been heading downhill ever since. I still hear the whining of white women who are quite content with affirmative action lament that they can’t find guys to marry/breed with; what white guy would in this atmosphere?
If there is a silver lining to this, it is the flattery of a government that officially acknowledges that I am genetically superior to Hispanics, blacks, and females of any stripe. I’m sure the same government will understand my opinion of those groups in that light; my young sons certainly do.
Sorry, Pearson is frozen in time as the pricipal who would not let needy white children with poor parents get some extra help. And that is all we need to know about him.
My sister is having a hard time getting her W2 Form from a school system in Louisiana. When she told the receptionist at the school board office what she needed, the receptionist asked, “What’s a W2 Form?”
A black clerk gave my sister a W2 Form with a man’s name on it. When my sister said she couldn’t use that to file her tax, the clerk said, “Well, it’s got the right SS number on it doesn’t it? Go ahead and use it.”
It’s been 2 weeks and 2 trips to the school board office later, and my sister still cannot get her correct W2 Form. What should she do? I told her to contact her union lawyer.
Awhile back the fad in public ed was “site based decision making”. This crap is the logical consequence. This idiot applied for a grant built on racial discrimination and got the money. If someone had reviewed that application it would have never been sent. Banning the white kids is half the story. I’ll bet the only teachers who could get the extra $ as tutors were Blacks and Hispanics. In my Texas district anyone stupid or petty enough to do this would have been promoted to District Co-ordinator of Warehouse Inventory until their contract ran out, then cut loose.
Skip the lawyer...contact the IRS. That covers your sis and starts the audit from hell for the school district. Wouldn’t hurt to contact her state representative.
We're sorry, white parent, but we seem to have lost your child's application and all of the positions are already filled.

Contact the IRS. These people are interfering with the income tax system.
The schools are really trying to “close the testing gap” by refusing to identify whites.
Then their ceiling is a whole lot lower.
Welcome to Obama’s Core Standard Curriculum, it will be even more telling.
All they are really doing is creating a “white class” who will still be smarter and better educated, because they won’t go to government schools anymore.
Let the minorities fight for the crumbs. I am tired of caring about their equality anymore.
Here in Alaska, students entering school are identified, profiled, and then offered tutoring. Minorities far dominate those who receive tutoring but in no way are Whites excluded. This principal won't last; surprised they haven't had legal issues over this already.

Barack Obama is trying to destroy the “white advantages” you mention (that he never had); the problem is an increasing number of whites don’t have them anymore either, and they don’t feel they owe blacks/Hispanics/women anything. Welfare reform was passed when too many white people started acting like urban black people; it simply costs too much.
Its already happened.
That is what Obama did in 2009 when his government team arbitrarily ordered 2,000 car dealerships to close down putting over 100,000 people out of work.
Many of the dealerships were among the most profitable in their area but they were mostly owned by older white men who were not big democrat supporters.
I guess Obama figured they had more than their "fair share".
I recall this jackass’ ghost written autobiography wherein he stated that while working in the restaurant in Atlanta owned by Lester Mattox he routinely spit in salads going to white diners.
