not surprising at all. Worst part of this, is that these phones are typically re-sold on the black market, as throw away phones. My daughter encountered a student at her University who had a bag of these phones she was reselling, as no one in her family needed the free phones, they all had nice cell phones.

At the risk of being pedantic, does no one who writes articles consult a dictionary? I think that if someone is going to “hock” phones, they would be taking them to a pawn shop. If they are hired to peddle them on the street/in public places, they are going to “hawk” the phones...

Don’t get mad at Obama, he didn’t fund it, he only used the funds that ARE GIVEN TO HIM BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES WHERE REPUBLICANS ARE IN CONTROL. Spending is happening because REPUBLICANS are giving the OK rather than cutting off the funds. Time we started yelling at the so called “right” people...pun intended.
