People would really benefit from less emphasis on sex. It just is not the be all, end all of anyone's life.

The new left's old saying, smash monogoamy. Men having sex with men was also to be used by the new left to destroy American society (see Peter Collier and David Horowoitz's "Destructive Generation").

Incidentally, “Scientific American” was run by commies, the Piel family. Maybe it still is.

The human condition affords so few pleasures however I can live without sex, but why if you are healthy and capable?

Perhaps it is worth noting that sin has been normal for a very long time, but some of us still find grace to struggle against this normality and raise objection to when someone tries to assert that their favorite sin is, contrary to fact, a moral good.

It seems like every ten years or so they make a push for this. People are dumb enough to try it then find out the consequences later.
