As press secretary to President Obama, Robert Gibbs was often in the obfuscation business. Now that he's been freed from that role and become a news analystalbeit at MSNBCGibbs has become considerably more candid. Readers will recall, for example, that he described Chuck Hagel as "unimpressive and unprepared" at his Senate confirmation hearing.
Today, Gibbs took that frankness a significant step further. On Up With Chris Hayes, Gibbs stated that as press secretary, he had been ordered not to acknowledge the existence of the drone program.

This man is a snake bellied slug. Sorry, you'll have to be more specific.
Are you referring to Gibbs, or Barry-O?

So he was told, “If asked, lie!”. And the “media” will do and say nothing about this against the zero admin, BUT.... if this was Bush, it would be a media storm.

So he was told, If asked, lie!. No, he was hired to lie. He didn't have to be told.
And the media will do and say nothing about this against the zero admin,
Well.... Gibbs is part of the 'medai', so I'm thinking you are right.
BUT.... if this was Bush, it would be a media storm.

Either fits. One is just a bit lower to the ground, that’s all.
