Barack Obama’s war on America’s fresh water supply: China is buying up Lake Michigan’s water
Coachisright ^

Barack Obama is keeping his promise to lower the sea levels, and he’s starting with the drought plagued Midwest where Lake Michigan water is being shipped by the boat loads over to China! By using a little known loophole in the 2006 Great Lakes Compact, Obama minions are allowing Nestle Company to export precious fresh water out of Lake Michigan to the tune of an estimated $500,000 to $1.8 million per day profit. By draining the precious jewel of the Great Lakes in the middle of America, our federal water managers are allowing the export of our water out of our country across thousands of miles of oceans into the Asian basin plagued by huge population centers who are suffering from their constant lack of fresh water. How’s that for cutting America down to size?

Or, depending on who is the seller, it’s a back door campaign donation. Sounds wacky... but then there is bottled Fiji water, and it never ceases to amuse me to see people drinking bottled water that cost them over a buck a bottle at 7-11 complaining about gas prices per gallon.

While it is troublesome that 250,000 of American water Lake Michigan is being exported to China, I read about the nation of Evaporation is taking more than 20 Billion gallons of American water per day from Lake Michigan.

Rate of the water returning. It’s not difficult to imagine its being removed faster than it can be replenished.

Lake Michigan is at an all time low, it is starting to effect shipping and commerce.
Yes, this is having a dramatic effect on those of us who live here.

The water isn’t being replenished ~~~~~ Bull Squat......its going to different places......its still on the planet. Back to school time.

They aren't say it vanishes but that it "isn't being replenished" locally.

That's like saying if you spend more money than you earn, it is being replenished because it is going to someone else.

Or if I steal your money, it is being replenished since it is going to a different place. My wallet.

Now replace the word 'money' with 'water.'

Matter or energy can neither be created nor destroyed.Those little atoms go round and round. The speed of the cycle is marginally influenced by the amount of solar insolation, but tends to be constant.

Put your apples and oranges back into the fruit bowl...go back to a school. Laws are immutable.

It seams this jet stream exports America air from the United States and delivers it all the way to Europe and even Russia!

~~~~~~~
But the nice jet stream brings us more....from Russia even....must be cyclic. Hmmmmm
What are the sources for this story ‘cause I couldn’t find any.
Hard to believe it would be worth shipping to Asia. Nestle water sells for about $0.25 a bottle retail in Thailand which is about the same as local brands, in other words, not at a premium. I assume the price in China is similar.
Two words can explain what’s happening in the Great Lakes Basin. Hydrologic Alteration. Mankind has exceeded the amount of water he can store behind dams in reservoirs around the World. Since the 1940’s,the Chinese alone have dammed up more water than 4 of the 5 Great Lakes, over 8,000 cubic kilometers. They are also exporting their craft of engineering and building dams all over the World. The Amazon River and it’s tributaries are currently being developed. This is having a huge impact on ancient weather patterns and...wait...CLIMATE CHANGE!!! If carbon emissions were really the problem, we would all be dead from black lung by now.
This seems to be a good news article to me. There is no better position to be in than to control a portion of a fresh water supply of your greatest potential enemy.
We can't control how much water is evaporated and replenished by rain. Presently we are losers in the water wars between the oceans, lands and skies.
Putting it another way, Lake Michigan contains 1,180 cu mi of water, and 1 cubic mile = 3 379 200 acre feet, or 4.3 million times the amount Nestle can suck out. And that doesn't include what's in Lake Huron, essentially a part of Lake Michigan.
If you convert these figures to cubic kilometers, you can easily compare this to the figures given in Wiki or UN data around the World for water behind large dams. The lake of fresh water poured into the oceans via rivers is made up for by rain over the oceans and water temps melting ice at the poles. The weight alone could be changing the spin and tilting of the Earth.
