However, in Lumberton, Texas, this week, high school girls were made to wear burqas as part of a CSCOPE study of Islam.
One student quoted the teacher as saying, “We are going to work to change your perception of Islam.”
The teacher in the burqa lesson, according to a student, also said, “I do not necessarily agree with this, but I am supposed to teach you that we are not to call these people terrorists anymore, but freedom fighters.”
Critics argue that this should not be a teacher’s role, and are concerned that CSCOPE curriculum appears agenda-driven.
According to a student in the class, the lesson was to teach about the life of women in Islam. The burqa exercise focused on fashion and did not include the fact that to be in public without a burqa in many Muslim countries is punishable by death.
At the end of class, the students were assigned to write a paper about Egypt. According to one student, they were instructed to discuss “how Egypt was a good country until democracy took over, and that things were finally corrected when the Muslim brotherhood came into power.”

I'd say it is time for a lawsuit.
A Better way to change peoples view of Islam would be to stop Islamo Terrorism and the purge and abuse of Christians.
Another way would be to stop Muslims from Building Mosques in the USA until 5 years after they allow Other religions to flourish in their countries Like Saudi Arabia.

Do some research on how Perry helped with getting this curriculum into the schools.
Maybe the teacher could get a local towel-head in to demonstrate an honor killing or a beheading.

I can’t believe this was in Texas and that their parents didn’t get that teacher fired.
Drudge needs to carry this full story. This needs to be forced into the public consciousness of even the low-information voters. Anybody who doubts that the communists and Islamists have joined forces to destroy America needs to comprehend what this group is doing in TX. It would be interesting to track this group back to its sources and find out who the major players are. My bet is that it would somehow come back to George Soros, acting in alliance with Muslim Brotherhood affiliates.
I believe the Soros communist-Islamist alliance made the Sept 2008 run on the bank, to counter McCain’s rise in the polls after choosing Sarah Palin. And I believe that they used that run on the bank as proof that they have control of enough money to collapse the world economy, which they then threatened all the critical people with, if those people didn’t do what was demanded. Specifically, ignore Obama’s ineligibility. But it’s gone on to other things now too - anything that would help destroy this country and make us vulnerable to the final deadly event of this coup (which I believe is coming soon and probably involves biological WMD’s, given the central importance of Obamacare and the way the Obamacare agenda is being ramped up to get rid of doctors and medicines very, very quickly. This dovetails with the direct unchecked flights of Hamas and Hezbollah operatives from Iran to Venezuela so that they can come into the US through our soft underbelly that Holder is holding wide open while arming the drug cartels that are in league with Islamist terrorists and helping to smuggle them into the US.)
One of the R Presidential candidates was overheard saying that nobody will touch the eligibility issue because they know it goes WAY deeper than anybody is willing to delve. IOW, they know that 2008 was a coup. Soros’ threats to the media if they reported on Obama’s ineligibility was just the tip of the iceberg, if the iceberg is the power that Soros holds, the ways he can hold this country hostage. The media heads told the on-air personalities that the threat was FCC/FEC annihilation after the election if they reported on ineligibility but it was Bush’s DOJ who could have made sure Obama never GOT elected if the media heads had reported the threats, so that threat doesn’t make sense. It had to be something bigger - something that held even Bush and his DOJ hostage as well. And a threat of another communist-Islamist run on the bank fits that description.
For a long time the “experts” told us that we didn’t have to worry about Islam because the shia-sunni breach would keep them from ever uniting against us. We’ve found that is not true. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” is the creed these people follow. And the 2 major enemies of the US and of freedom - communism and Islamism - have united. George Soros has publicly said that he doesn’t want the US to win the “War on Terror” because then America and capitalism would be strong, and those are the 2 things he (who believes he is God) has to destroy. IOW, Soros has allied himself with Islamic terrorism in order to destroy the US. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
America needs to realize that our enemies have united against us, and the guy who says he has bought and paid for the democratic party leads that alliance. Right now they have Congress, the courts, the media (including “conservative” media), and law enforcement hostage. And they are quickly moving to take our healthcare, schools, military, and gun owners hostage as well.
We are in deep, deep doo-doo. Plan accordingly.
There are probably lots of Muslim girls who would love to wear miniskirts but they value their necks too much for that.

lonestar, if you remember, during the primaries, this was one of the main reasons I had my doubts about Rick Perry. His entanglement with his good friend, aga khan and allowing islam to be taught in Texas schools was my main objection to perry and the fight over it here was pretty heated. Everyone made excuses for it and some even denied it, but it was all true and now the horses are out of the barn.
From one of the pages at that link, it connects the big push for this back to 2005, and a person at the middle of it is Paul Sadler, who is described as a banker who was in the TX legislature for a while. He ran against Ted Cruz. The dems were ridiculing Cruz for believing that Soros is in with the UN to destroy America.
It seems like this is saying that superintendents wormed this into various school districts. If so, those superintendents need to feel some heat on their tail ends. FOIA requests need to be made for all the communications and connections that were involved in this unconstitutional agenda. It needs to be exposed and these people need to be recognized as the enemies of the Constitution that they are, and the methods they’ve used need to be exposed so everybody knows the game plan, where it came from, and who all was either part of the scheme or got sucked into it.

I went to a parochial school where corporal punishment was dispensed as required by the nuns. If my NYPD cop father found out I had been administered to. There was a pretty good chance I would get a second ‘reminder’.
My kids went to public schools. The teachers and administrators hated to see me because I called a spade a spade. With my wife we made sure the kids got a better education than the average for that district. My 3 kids all grew up to be well educated and politically conservative from a left of center school district.
Once they’re rid of the freedom-loving peoples, the communists and Islamists will have to duke it out between themselves, and it’s gonna be an UGLY, UGLY fight. I’m glad I’ll already be in Heaven by then.
This is ok if the lesson the girls take away is how monstrous a system is that forces women to wear a uniform (but not men) or risk stoning.

Lumberton is in East Texas, know for sticks and hicks. The “Golden Triangle” of Beaumont-Port Arthur-Orange, TX is nearby, a nest of Democrat union workers, which is rare in Texas.
As long as free baby-sitting and free breakfast and lunch programs feed the kids, the clueless parents would let them come to school necked.

Let’s not overdo it, cscope DOES NOT refer to the patriots from the Boston Tea Party as terrorists.
Well they did, but they deleted it, so it’s not there anymore, it was in an old version of their curriculum. The wonders of the Internet permitted an update.
Of course I have no clue whether it’s back in the curriculum...since its deletion can be undone just as quickly. In fact, it can be removed every afternoon when the bell rings and re-inserted every morning when the morning bell rings.
...and that is my point to you technology-crazed parents. Think about it. Once textbooks are gone, you have ZERO INSIGHT and ZERO CONTROL as to what’s going on in the schools. Why do you think they were in such a hurry to get wired up?
