(Newser) The Supreme Court won't be hearing a defendant's appeal in a drug casebut Justice Sonia Sotomayor made her views clear on a federal prosecutor's earlier comments, CNN reports. The prosecutor had said, "You've got African Americans, you've got Hispanics, you've got a bag full of money. Does that tell youa light bulb doesn't go off in your head and say, 'This is a drug deal?'"
In a statement backed by Justice Stephen Breyer, Sotomayor noted that the remarks were "an affront to the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection of the laws." "It is deeply disappointing to see a representative of the United States resort to this basic tactic more than a decade into the 21st century," she said. "I hope never to see a case like this again." She also slapped the Justice Department for responding to the comments by dubbing them "impolitic."

Does that include the people she forced onto ObamaCare when she is exempt for life...or the the people she passed that were more qualified because of AA?

Wonder if Thomas had anything to say. He’s probably to dignified to say anything like that, since he doesn’t rule by his “feelings”.

The Prosecutor was pretty stupid to tell the truth in open court. The Sodajerk got upset.

If it was close to an election they could have been democrat operatives out buying votes, instead of dealing drugs....

Political correctness is punishing people for saying true things.

Funny, I don't recall her raising any objection when Homeland Security said "You've got older conservative white people, you have limited government, pro-life or gun rights signs, does that set off a light bulb in your head and say 'These are terrorists?"

OK, Obama owns this one two different ways.
- First, it's a Federal prosecutor who made the observation. (Interesting that the race of the prosecutor isn't mentioned.)
- Second, if those perps were able to get and keep a good job early in their life, they perhaps wouldn't have been at that location at that time acting the way they did.
So Obama's failure to help the United States economy get back on its feet, so that "minorities" don't get nailed for felonies because there isn't any work, comes home to roost. And
his people are doing the profiling.

The unnamed prosecutor was an assistant US attorney in the Western District of Texas.

Anyone running around with “a bag full of money” is up to no good one way or the other.
Except maybe armored car guards.

Being that white people never do drugs or sell drugs, the prosecutor’s statement must be factual.

"You've got African Americans, you've got Hispanics, you've got a bag full of money. Does that tell youa light bulb doesn't go off in your head and say, 'This is a drug deal?'" Sounds more like a deal for a Supreme Court seat.

Sotomayor is the ‘biggest’ racist on the Supreme Court.
Proof: She claimed that the Fire fighter tests for advancement in Waterbury CT discriminated against blacks and Hispanics because,,, they were too tough and that the standards should be changed to be easier for the above groups.
Here is my point. The tests WERE too tough for the “Blacks and Hispanics” that had been given the jobs due to Affirmative Action. Now, if the applicants hired were the “Best for the Job” and not hired to fill a ‘color’ quota the firefighters could have passed the next level test.
I could have brought to CT an Hispanic (who I was on Fire Brigade with in Massachusetts) who, given 30 days could have passed any test thrown at him.
Instead, the citizens of Waterbury CT are less safe for her actions.
Sometimes people reach the “saturation point” and no more information can be absorbed.
Thanks for making CT a less safe place to live you Racist, unfit Justice.

I’m guessing the prosecutor is white and that’s the only reason Sotomayor felt safe to squeal like a pig?
