Rent-a-mob confrontation is little barry bastard boy’s style, exploiting blacks and Hispanics in the thugery unions like SEIU. Little bastard boy isn’t a leader, he’s a ‘community organizer’, IOW he’s a damned ‘brownshirts’ agitator. Mob rule is the only thing little bastard boy and his thugocracy can embrace.

rabid union radicals getting in the face and creating confrontations with armed protesters. What possibly could go wrong? I mean really, why in the world would anyone cancel such a peaceful exchange of ideas?

Oh, the union wasn't planning on being peaceful. That could be a problem if shoving and punching broke out.

So, our side caved in because Cuomo rented some thugs? That means Cuomo won while hardly trying. I don’t want to hear about “surrender monkeys” when we quit in the face of threats.

Cuomo is as slimy as any mafia mob boss.

Unless I misread it, I think the article is saying the rent a mob canceled.

From the article: 1199 SEIU, the hospital workers union, abruptly canceled a Thursday rally designed to challenge some 10,000 opponents of the governor’s measure

I hope you’re right. The initial headline sounded like the SEIU thugs canceled their rumble AFTER the gun rights group canceled theirs, saying the real potential for violence would have been a nearly all white anti-SAFE Act crowd versus an all minority SEIU rentamob.

Hope Generalissimo Cuomo didn’t just score an easy victory.

Are you coming to the rally and making appointments with your Assmemblyman and Senator? I’ll be there on Thursday.

Supposedly a Senator who voted for the “Safe” Act is sponsoring a bill to totally repeal it.

Exactly. The SEIU was offering free bus trips, including free breakfast and lunch for their astroturf protestors.

Pro 2nd Amendment citizens from all over New York State are paying their own money and taking time off from actual jobs to go there.

The “PRO GUN LAW RALLY” is cancelled. The ORIGINAL “ANTI NEW YORK GUN LAW, PRO SECOND AMENDMENT RALLY” is going on as scheduled, the way I read it. It is confusing and possibly purposely.

Is that a fact, or is there some way we can find out if that is true? Cuomo backed out either because your assumption is correct, or they feared US and the number of US who would show up.

Let me be sure I understand your message to GlockThe Vote:

THE RALLY HAS BEEN CALLED OFF THURSDAY. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER BUSINESS CONDUCTED ON THRUSDAY. Your message refers to anyone who wants to go on Thursday to make appointments with their Assemblymen and Senators.

Is that correct? Confusion reigns on some days more than others. :)

The only proof I have is faith in the incompetence of affirmative-action Lefties and their tendency to overreach.

If they had a bunch of people coming, they'd still be coming.

I Did. I. Feel. Stupid.

But: are the pro-gun folks still gathering? Anybody know? This could be a lost opportunity if they aren't standing up to Benito Cuomo and his Blackshirts.

Oh those tricky hyphens! People are thinking the gun owners canceled. No, no, and no. The Astro-Turf people decided not to come.

The lefty union thugs called off their counter demomstration. 10,000 plus pro gun New Yorkers are still going to stand up for the 2nd Amendment and against the NY (un)Safe Act.

Evidently not, or they would not have canceled their traditionally violent confrontation. The progressive pussies only favor outnumbering their victims.
