In an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts aired this morning, First Lady Michelle Obama recalled the tragic death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was shot and killed in Chicago after performing during the President’s Inauguration celebration in Washington D.C.
“She was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” the First Lady explained. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”
Chicago police reported, however, that Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car” according to the Associated Press.

If Bush had made this gaffe, the reporter would have corrected him immediately...and try to embarrass him. But not the beard of the One they Worship....
Another example of why and how our Republic is doomed.
This is all just standard liberal choreographed Kabuki to usher in further control of our lives and more takings of our freedoms. It doesn’t matter whether automatic or semi-automatic. It isn’t about that. It’s about the fact that there are still people in this country that can think for themselves and value the freedoms that our Founding Fathers affirmed for us in our Consitution.
They, and I include Obama and his SAB wife here, are the very same people that will decry the murder of a couple dozen children by a deranged mental case whilst abetting the murder of almost ONE MILLION UNBORN SOULS each year by Planned Parenthood, whom they give through Government payments almost 1 Billion Dollars every three years.
They are the same people that WILL eventually line up all you non-conformists beside a ditch dug by DHS bulldozers and blow your non-conformist brains out with the very same weapons they do not want you to have.
So one might say....bring a knife not a gun when you check in at the abortion clinic.

How anyone can assume anything else needs a logic lesson. Of course this is only one of millions of examples.

I don’t know which is worse: (1) that the First lady made up the part about automatic weapons or that (2) ABC edited out her mistaken claim.
That is, unless, of course, "our kids" are the millions who have been and will be aborted.
We need to educate our youth about capitalism in a format they can understand. For instance, most do not realize that true wealth is net worth, not income. It is generally acquired over time and requires prudent stewardship of your assets. Today's youth look at the older generation with envy, not realizing what it took for their elders to acquire their assets. They think we were given these assets without work and sacrifice and that they are entitled to them at a young age so they can enjoy what has taken us scores to accumulate. America is about the opportunity to succeed and rise above the norm, not having it handed to you. What would happen under socialism or communism? Explain to them it would be like everyone driving a Trabant on a busy highway at the same speed. Who wants a car prone to breaking down or to travel in a large group that undoubtedly would be going below the speed limit? No, I prefer capitalism where you can have a Volt or Mercedes depending on what effort or sacrifice you are willing to make. And of the few blessed with huge fortunes? Don't envy them but be thankful for their extravagance which provides additional jobs and products that wouldn't exist without their spending. Much like the space program, these benefits or products will become cheaper with time and larger numbers of production, thereby giving larger numbers of people the opportunity to own or enjoy.

This innocent girl was shot to death:
1) In Chicago, Barack and Michele Obam’s home town, (which seems poorly “organized”) with his former Chief of Staff as its mayor.
2) The city with the strictest gun control laws in the nation, so strict that the SCOTUS has ordered the laws relaxed.
3) By a young, gang member, thug, who had convicted of unlawful use of a firearm for running from the police with an illegal gun and throwing it away durning the chase. He received probation rather than jail for his gun crime. Keep in mind, as state Senate candidate Barack Obama opposed trying juveniles as adults. (His family members still insist he was “a good kid”.)
4) By a thug who was ineligble in ANY state in the US to own, possess, purchase or carry any gun, due to his felony record.
5) By a young thug who had been caught violating his probation for his gun crime, multiple times, yet was allowed to remain free to kill.
The Obama’s, Rahm Emmanuel, the judge who gave him probation, and the Chicago probation department all share some repsonsibility for this girl’s murder.
The sycophant media must cover Moochells butt, and man there is a lot of butt to cover.
