I installed some of the scarecrow water sprinklers with the Passive Infrared sensors on em designed to scare critters out of gardens and flower beds etc ...

Of course with a career in EOD I had to improvise it a wee bit so I hid them better than the video shows and had 7 of em and used some green Rit Brand dye added to the filter screen cup in the hose connection.

The little buggers Mommy brought her new leprechaun gangster over for me to see.... Complaining, angry, bitch bitch bitch etc and I showed her the no trespassing signs, the locked gate and the fertilizer I had added to my sprinkler system. Also gave her a CD with all her little criminals video highlights tearing up my property.

Now the litte bastard has a red ass to go along with his green face courtesy of me and his Momma.

She made him mow my lawn for the entire summer as punishment....that was 3 years ago. They moved since, good family, I miss em !

Guess I'd forgotten that. Much longer school than mine but with a general similarity [(cbt. engr. (cbt.), NG--OSUT initial training]. Good work with the vandal. Shows that there's much more to home defense. I've harped quite a few times on lighting, physical/legal barriers (fences, etc.), cameras, positions of various common objects (trees, etc.) and the like. Firearms for self-defense are good, but a much more secure home place can look nice, be nice, and help keep us out of trouble.
