When they first started the project, the team expected to find about 7,000 camps and ghettos. Shockingly, they discovered 42,500 camps across large swathes of German-controlled Europe. The researchers predict that up to 20 million people died or were imprisoned in the sites.'

What I find even more horrifying is the amount of local help the Nazis had in exterminating the Jewish population.

Likely they’ll have even more help the next time, and, sadly, even from American jews who support the democrat party.
What needs to be really discussed is how many others besides (but including Jews) we dealt with this way by the Nazi’s
For example, Jews and non-Jews were shipped from the Ukraine to war munition and other work camps when there was a shortage of German labor to continue the war effort. Part of the horror was that most went willingly on promises of food, work and better living conditions. All they got was a slow death.
They were truly crimes against humanity.
The German and german allies murdered by many means 6 to 20 million (or much MORE) in labor boondoggles in WWII and also in WWI.. not to speak that Stalin dwarfed Hilters fiascos.. and Mao ran a close second.. (probably) because no one really knows how many died in China and other territory’s.. could have been worse than Stalin..
Hilter, Stalin and Mao were amatuers when current progressives(socialists) are considered.. The current world socialist cabals will have no problem liquidating BILLIONS.. not multi-millions but multi-BILLIONS..
Along with making the rest still living miserable..
Humanity is committing suicide.. UNLESS socialism becomes ILLEGAL..
But socialists are serious as a heart attack.. only way to STOP THEM is to KILL THEM..
They WILL NOT just “give up”..
Anyone who is in a minority should be terrified about what could happen and that includes here in the USA; Mormons, Jews, Atheists, Blacks, Asians, Homosexuals, Muslims and even various Christian Sects could be targeted if the economy gets worse or other bad events happen.
It doesn’t take much for the really bad side of humanity to viciously attack. History proves it over and over. That is why I really don’t understand minority groups that deliberately antagonize the majority in the populations that surround them. Muslims in Europe, Blacks, Hispanics and homosexuals in the USA. It is almost self destructive behavior.
People seem to keep forgetting they killed more than just jewish people at these camps
People like to forget the 70-120 million murdered (and still being murdered) by the Communists.
The Japanese weren’t exactly pikers when it came to atrocities in places like Manchuria
It was what Pastor Bonhoeffer’s mother feared about the Prussian school system (the one we have BTW).
She felt if the children are put into this system younger than 8 or so—that they will be brainwashed and conditioned into a worldview antithetical to Christianity-—(individual worth and dignity).
She understood how young children form character (worldview) and that they will believe the “authority figures” version of Good and Evil.
What she understood was that the Prussian system conditions into “group think”, an emotional way which negates the intellect. Feelings will be forced by conforming to the “majority” and the teachers worldview. If the teachers praises things which are evil, the child will learn to feel ‘good” about evil. It is BF Skinner association technique that our schools have used to destroy the moral feelings from “Good’. They force children to feel “good” about “evil”—like they have to take “Pride” in sodomy and “praise” the vile acts or be ostracized by the “group”.
The Germans had God removed by the German Postmodernists whose ideology dominated Germany by the early 1900’s where the culture was vulgar and degraded continually (Weimar Republic) and people where “conditioned” to see other human beings as a “means to an end” (Marxist—opposite of Christianity).
They were taught to think in terms of a Collective —you eliminate the useless eaters-—to get rid of individualism, through the Prussian system.
They were just going along with the masses and what they were taught—Ideology MATTERS. Certain cultures are OK with evil acts. All history proves it. That is why the Founders hated democracies and loved Christian Ideology which is based on Reason and Faith (because of St. Thomas Aquinas who used Reason and Faith which was “reasoned”) . Germans were ruled by emotion, never “intellect’ (Reason). They used Reason to justify Evil.
It was easy for the Germans to not “help” and “look the other way” because character had been beat out of them in the Prussian school system and by their toxic culture which glorified evil and dysfunction. Homosexuality was the National Vice of Germany in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s and all their entertainment by 1919 was vile and vulgar and degraded human beings.
They are too busy learning how the US was the only place to ever have slavery and that it ended in 2008 or something.

And never forget that Obama’s good buddy has admitted to helping the Nazis and personally benefitting from the assets belonging to the Jews he sent off to be murdered.

My mother was sent to a working farm when she refused to join the party. I used to think she should have just joined and given lip service, but she said she couldn’t do that. It took a long time for me to understand that kind of defiance. And now she’s distraught at what is happening here.
Looks like some inflation here. The claimed number used to be 6 million (actual numbers probably closer to 5 to 5.5 million). But as usual, no mention of the equal number on non-Jews killed in the camps.
Yeah ... when I was a kid, 'everybody knew' that Hitler and his National Socialist thugs killed 6 million Jews and 5.5 million gentiles. Then somewhere along the line, the 5.5 million gentiles got shoved down the memory hole. I'm glad to see the National Socialists again getting full blame for their crimes.
Gotta have the monopoly for suffering!
my dad was a civilian child in a Jap concentration camp. He lived in the European section of Tsingtao China when the the Japanese invaded. He and my uncle never “got over it” although they got freed by the Americans after 3 years. Weiheisen is the name of it. Japanese took their house, all their stuff, killed their dog.
