Our government threatens to fine job creators in a bad economy. Our government threatens to fine a company thats raised wages four years running. Our government threatens to fine a family for running its business according to its beliefs. Its not right. I know people will say we ought to follow the rules; that its the same for everybody. But thats not true. The government has exempted thousands of companies from this mandate, for reasons of convenience or cost. But it wont exempt them for reasons of religious belief.
So, Hobby Lobby and my family are forced to make a choice. With great reluctance, we filed a lawsuit today, represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, asking a federal court to stop this mandate before it hurts our business. We dont like to go running into court, but we no longer have a choice. We believe people are more important than the bottom line and that honoring God is more important than turning a profit.

Good points well made—quite a synopsis.
I wonder how much is known about Soros’ spawn-—we ought to get a jump on them—”out” them, so to speak, as George is rather ancient.
(I wish Hobby Lobby could make every employee an independent contractor.)
So are they also exempt from auto insurance? home owners insurance?
I think at this point Soros is irrelevant. I think he helped the world communists and Islamists to unite against the US and organized the way for that massive money supply to interface with US politics; he does own the democratic party, after all (his words, not mine). He was the link between the Cloward-Piven destabilization of the economy, The New Party (which Frances Fox Piven helped to start, with the intention of taking over one or both political parties and turning it communist except for the name), and the spark to start the crisis. It was a natural choice for the Muslims and communists to form an alliance. Muslims and communists both fight dirty, both have access to lots of money, both believe freedom is bad/dangerous, have the fire in their belly to work at destroying America systematically, patiently, and using America’s own weaknesses against her (as both have said they would do), and Alinsky methods have already neutralized the American public’s willingness to believe and/or speak out about their infiltration of the government - the communists because of the mockery of McCarthyism, and the Muslims because they have enough money to make DC take them seriously and because they have the means to violence that really could end this country.
Communism is a fox and Islamism is a wolf, and they are working together to hunt the defenseless little sheep. Half of the shepherds jumped at the chance to sell the sheep to the fox and wolf, in order to get power, prostitutes, and money. The other half have watched the wolf/fox open their jaws wide around the sheep’s neck and been told that if they don’t do what they’re told the wolf/fox will bite. The wolf/fox is going to bite anyway but nobody knows what to do about it.
Well, there’s the $20B-$30B in stimulus money Texas has taken or expects to get, That could easily be used as leverage, I’d think.

So far Texas has taken $17B of this money, and created 5,500 jobs.
Stimulus money was apparently used to keep Texas from having a budget deficit more than once, and they aren’t out of trouble yet, it seems. I hate CNN as a source, though, so I also added another source.

I’m not sure how you can use all of that federal money to balance budgets, and then claim you don’t need federal dollars.
“Overall, non-stimulus federal money makes up 32 percent of the budget about $54.4 billion of what the state government plans to spend over the next two years.”
Seems like a lot of federal dollars are needed by Texas.
I believe the equal protection clause covers that.
You are not required to have homeowner’s insurance (by the government -— if you have a mortgage, that’s another situation, but muslims also don’t borrow money at interest and so get Sharia-compliant loans, which come with a collective product that is similar to insurance, but removes the “gambling” aspect.)
You can post a bond for auto insurance, and many do, yes.
