Once Again, Obama Suggests That Laws Don’t Apply to Him
The Weekly Standard ^ | 3/6/13 | JEFFREY H. ANDERSON

President Obama has grown fond of saying that he’s “not a dictator,” “not a king,” and “not the emperor,” but is instead “the president.” Whether his tendency to clarify a seemingly obvious point reveals his inner desires or not, his actions in a variety of ways suggest that he doesn’t think the president shares his fellow citizens’ ongoing obligation to obey the law. To the contrary, he seems to view the president as being somewhat above the law.

The latest example involves Obama’s legal obligation to submit a budget by the first Monday in February. We’ve now passed the first Monday in March, yet there’s no indication that Obama intends to submit a budget anytime soon.

The facts seem to suggest that he is above the law.

Not one person in politics or the Supreme Court have the balls to put him or Eric Holder in their place.

The Democrats love it, they would vote for concentration camps and Zyclon B if Obama wanted it.

Half the Republicans would too.

All seem willing to do anything to destroy the United States, while sending borrowed money to our enemies.

Obama should obey the law. But given that his last budget didn’t even get a single democrat vote, much less a republican one, I can understand his reluctance to submit another one.

Yeah, all well and good, but who the hell is going to stop his handlers? Huh? The sock puppet will be told to do whatever they tell him to do, and NO ONE WILL STOP HIM!

"Dictator" is so limiting. I prefer Emperor.

I go to a dog park that is peppered with mind numbed liberals, just the other day when I overheard one elderly woman blaming the Republican Congress for all our ills I asked why obama gets a pass for not submitting a budget. Her response was “ Why should he even bother when the Congress won’t vote on it”. When I pointed out that it was Her democrat controlled Senate that refused to vote she started in on Bush. The moron liberals in this country will never blame one of THEIR Presidents for anything, it is always the fault of Republicans.

To the contrary, he seems to view the president as being somewhat above the law.

Common mistake among uneducated people like liberals and far too many black people. And it might continue to be such unless we start to teach our children civics again.

He and his office and friends have been caught red-handed for sending guns to mexican cartels. This not only cost a lot of people their lives, but setup the AMERICAN CITIZEN to be blamed for it.

He and his office and friends have sued the State of Arizona for enforcing laws that are on the books to be enforced.

What is there to make this maggot think that he’s NOT above the law ?

To the mentally deranged known as leftists/socialists/democrats, politics trumps all, every time. It is a sickness, deep-seated, and they will not deviate from supporting these basta*ds. There is no hope for many of them. And they will become the collateral damage in this war we are fighting.

And Congress, the propganda ministry.a/k/a, the main stream media and a goodly portion of the population of the United States of America heartily agree with him.

But he's not a dictator

I suspect he prefers a title more like "der 0berFuhrer, Emperor for Life, Hussein 0bama".

Yep, pride goeth before the fall.

He is so full of himself that he can't imagine himself on the losing end.

But then, we know how it will end.

If he were really so smart you'd think he'd buy a vowel or something.

Liberals believe they are above the law as a logical and reasonable result of their basic assumptions, ie, their worldview. Laws are written in the past. Elite humans in the present making ad hoc decisions based on their superior intellect must trump laws written in the past.
Blacks have different reasons for feeling “above the rules” - a sense of entitlement and a lifelong experience of people making excuses for otherwise unacceptable behavior.
