Lighten up folks, it's only New Jersey. They have to do something to live up to the SMELL coming from all the Landfills so becoming a full blown Police State is the natural next step from being the Landfill Capital of North America.
After all, the Mob didn't bury all the bodies there for nothing. The smell of all that decomp would never be noticed -- 'Huh? What rotting flesh, Agnes?'.
