The Constitution is almost meaningless, our borders are wide open and we will grant all here illegally full rights and citizenship, we've lost control over our elections, our bill of rights are under assault by those who swore an oath not to do that, they are draining our treasury and bankrupting our financial systems and refuse to pass a budget demanded by the Constitution, they've taken over our medical systems and records, plus education at all levels, and own the judiciary and have usurped the presidency with someone no one can or will verify with tangible documentation we all can agree about and the one stream media is totally under GuvCo control.

Unless anyone has any objections, we're almost done here. What's the final countdown clock say?

All that's left is their disarming Americans, and their takeover and our surrender is complete.

The hallow-point angle is a red herring. Shooters train with what they carry. It makes perfect sense to train with hallow points, and knowing the federal government, the cost would never be any concern whatsoever. (The 2700 MRAPs is another red herring, put into circulation by Russia Today for the sole purpose of being debunked after word of the ammo purchase orders started going viral).

The only thing that matters here is the volume of ammunition the federal government is buying. Anyone who’d like to quiet the “conspiracy theories” (I despise that term) should be able to provide evidence of some precedent for a 1.6 billion round ammo order. But they won’t, because they can’t.

MHGinTN in Post 9 has this one pegged. They’re stocking up like they never have before, because they know what’s coming.

...a statement made by then-candidate Barack Obama in 2008 calling for a “civilian national security force” as big, as strong and as well-funded as the Defense Department. In Colorado July 2, 2008, Obama said: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

I sense an answer in the above comment...

Yup, that is the deal. Grab it before it could even hit the shelves.

This ought ot be a treasonous act and the people who devised this, hung. Has nothing to do with better prices. Has nothing to do with the military supply as they can’t use these rounds per Geneva Convention.

This is for Phase 2/3 of Freedom From War, State Dept Pub 5277.

Someowere I heard (or read) that once established, republics have an average life span of plus or minus 250 years, at which point they begin to deteriorate. Anyone else heard a similar factoid?

As so many have said (including FReepers right here on FR) there is nothing to these purchases they are just normal training expenditures and only people who wear ‘tinfoil hats’ would worry about them. (SARC)

The city, state, and county LEO’s I’ve talked with, train with FMJs, 90% of the time.

I thought that LEOs usually do not take much target practice. This is their general reputation. Why would the doofuses in Homeland Security be any different? So this huge stockpile is not being run down. It is being kept on hand to use against the American people if push comes to shove.

No, they ordered 100 years worth of ammo. They haven't taken delivery on much of any of it yet. OTOH citizens already had trillions of rounds of ammo before they went and cleared every shelf in the country last Dec. and Jan.

City, state and county LEO’s live in the real world of budgets and limited funds. Federal agents, not so much.

Which is another reason this “we’re buying in bulk to save money” line is so laugh-out-loud outrageous.

That’s pretty short and doesn’t really say much, yorkie. There was an article today about the Marines being told to save on bullets. If the FedMob is so overloaded with ammo who would Marines have to scrimp? Also both Army and Marine forces are being drastically reduced. Is that the move to make before taking on the civilian population?

Handing an M4 to a Girl Scout, doesn’t make the GSA a national threat.

But, they’d be more threatening than armed DHS.

Don’t count on the majority of DoD enlisted to fire on American citizens.

Count on being able to see any threat in action, from a long way off.

There will be warning.

Did you read the second page, TE?

I am not a conspiration freak - but there is so much more to look into - the FEMA camps, the millions of coffin liners, and drones......

Something is going on - and are we just shedding a blind eye to it?

It’s happening. And, average Americans are either watching it unfold with deer-in-the-headlight attitudes, or burying their heads in the sand. The frog has been placed in the pot with room temp water, and the heat has been slowly raised. The water is close to a boil right now.
