How do you get from “Police tell WKEF-TV that the pilot admitted to drinking” to: Police: Drunk Pilot? Having a drink and being drunk are, sometimes, two different things. Plus the story says he had the presence of mind to shut off the fuel supply before the crash. Does not sound like a drunk to me.
The crash does not bespeak of a “crash that lit up the sky” nor a “spectacular explosion.”

Looking at the various youtubes of density altitude and low-altitude buzzing crashes, it was striking to me to relate all that as metaphoric for today’s US Economy. The regime is flying the economy close to the ground at near stall speed, thinking it can just raise the nose for all the MSM to see, how sleek a bird it is, when in the next second a tree is in the way, and things stall and spin out of control, handling the yoke (ie: Bernanke) can do nothing to avert the final crash with the ground.
