——— It was ultra folksy, and there aint a damn thing wrong with that. -——
I didn’t take offense. It was a very fair representation of her speech, a speech that will be talked about a lot this week.

I watched the video, not live. When Ted Cruz came out I was like WTF??? But could NOT keep myself from clapping and woohoo’ing!!!
Absolute perfection. This was a man, who was at the end of the line......until our Sarah came in.
God Bless America. Perhaps, we do still have a chance!

” . . .you certainly could have titled this a different way than sounding like a northern liberal writing another hit piece on Sarah Palin.”
The key words here are “sounding like” a northern liberal writing another hit piece on Sarah Palin.
I did not say it was a “hit piece!”
I don't believe that statement “ultra folksy” has been used to describe another conservative? Have you?

Yup. the only people ‘offended’ by folksy are elitists.
We collectively need to embrace each and every thing the MSM and the naysayers bitch about. Other than the fact it makes them batXhit crazy, the simple fact is that most people not only like but WANT a simple approach. Their lives are complicated enough as it is without ‘nuanced’ approaches to everything up to and including happy meals.

Full of great quotes.
One I would have given her:
“The biggest problem with Congress and a huge majority of
elected officals at all levels, except for a handful of true Conservatives and Independents, is that they can’t imagine the world of politics without them”.

Was that a Star of David pendant on her neck?

Sarah haters CANNOT simply help themselves. They are like the commies, lefties, socialists that absolutely MUST respond.....to a little gal from Alaska whom is deemed “irrelevant". But yet, lives inside their heads 24/7....hehehe.

God bless Sara Palin! And God bless Ted Cruz!

Great speech. Spanked Obama, the GOPe, the DC elite and Karl Rove. Loved the BIG GULP and the rack and rifle double entendre comment. This was grass roots kitchen table conversational discussion talk about the stark contrast between the founding documents theme phrase of the people, by the people, for the people vs. the cynical, devisive and destructive nature of identity politics being practiced by BOTH parties and yet, only mastered by one party. No teleprompter, no Rovian white board lecture, no scripting to market branding talking points- just from the heart. Class act on Ted Cruz's part too.
I fully expect her to be the target of ridicule starting tomorow with the Sunday DC round table punditry and throughout the week from the usual mindless cable and network news bobbleheads.

I have no problem with the use of ultra folksy to describe Sarah Palin’s speaking style at CPAC today. I like it. She is folksy, also funny and feisty. It’s all positive in my opinion.
I’ll leave it to you to get uptight about it.
To: Norm Lenhart; smoothsailing
I believe the BIG problem is it stands with the “sheeple”.
They are used to being spoke AT, not spoke TO.
We recognize the difference. Those who bark, do not.

God bless we have the likes of Sarah. She is the real spirit of America and hopefully this spirit will somehow hit the GOP. We do have a few Republicans that are conservative Constitutional driven. And we must make sure that we all call King Obama for what he is, a communists black Muslim and his only effort is to destroy America. We have many good black gentlemen and women and pray that they realize what King Obama has done and work to overthrow this tyrant.

Did she just bitch or offer solutions? Todays problems are jobs, immigration, wars, nation building, taxes - any supporters hear anything? Short, quick and to the point. You betray your dislike for Sarah Palin with thinly layered sarcasm.
Her speech at CPAC was not one to propose or support policy. Her speech was inspirational and motivational.
Hopefully, even you can comprehend the difference between policy and motivation.
