The dramatic shift in the Republican Party on immigration continued Tuesday, as Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a conservative tea party icon and possible 2016 presidential contender, endorsed an overhaul of the nation’s immigration laws that would allow the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants to obtain legalized status. “Immigration will not occur until conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. That’s why I’m here today: to begin that conversation and become part of the solution,” he said in a breakfast speech Tuesday morning before the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

Sorry but over the last couple of weeks I’m turning away from him more and more and if he;s going the route of his father but more of a polished way then he;s done for me and he should join the libertarian party and go tot heir conventions
I now realize that father and son are pretty much on the same page and I daresay that he'd not have come in at the top at CPAC, had he said he's on the same page to give us "comprehensive immigration reform!"
These are weasel words, we already have a reform plan, it's called Simpson/Mazzoli, a law put into place the last time we granted blanket Amnesty to illegal aliens.
Enforce Simpson/Mazzoli NOW, Rand, if you are honest about desiring to correct the situation we have in the U.S.

I never knew him nor Rubio enough to trust either one... my gut feeling was obviously correct. After all of the BS we went through the last 2 Pres. elections, and especially after the last one, you would think people on our side would have learned by now that not everything is as it seems.

I know about uimmigration very well as I came here and I did have to go back to England to get my visa, get my green card etc.

that was two weeks ago, he also said he was against Hagel but then voted for him so who knows where he really is but you might not lke this but for me he;s like his father more and more in these last couple of weeks, homosexuals for marriage, now this, what;s next?

If so he belongs in the libertarian party not in the GOP and he needs to get rid of that R at the end of his name and he also should use their conventions and primaries in the future if this is the course he;s going

I will be hiring a landscape company for the season. I will only hire a company that uses employees and uses E-Verify. Most likely, I will end up doing the work myself but I will interview a number of firms before I give up. Maybe one of them will get the message.
I also have some home improvements I have been delaying. A deck, bathroom renovation. I will interview a number of firms. I will ask every one of them. Are your workers employees? And do you use E-Verify?
If they say yes, I can verify through the database on the NumbersUSA database.
I know I am pushing a boulder up a hill, but push I must.
