Feinstein On Reid Dropping Assault Weapons Ban: "A Major Betrayal Of Trust" (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!)
Real Clear Politics ^ | March 19, 2013

BRIANNA KEILAR, CNN: Now, Senator Reid, Senator Feinstein, had said before that you deserved a vote. But its appearing now it's going to be an amendment, it could ultimately just be a symbolic vote. What's your response to this new --

SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN (D-CA): No, no if it's an amendment, that is not a symbolic vote. I did the bill in 1994 on the floor as an amendment, it enacted a law. It went on to the House, it was enacted.

This is very important to me and I'm not going to lay down and play dead. I think the American people have said in every single public poll that they support this kind of legislation. It's aimed to protect children, to protect schools and malls. It's aimed to dry up the supply of these over time. And it came out on a 10-8 vote of the Judiciary Committee. Not to give me a vote on this would be a major betrayal of trust.

Say, Senator Di-Fi, what was that lecture you gave to Senator Cruz bragging about all your years of Senate experience? It appears that you DON'T know how the game is played since your bill was doomed from the start. Harry never intended to allow it to go for a full vote.

Dirty Harry knows the public far better than DiFi.

No way is he gonna let his 2014 candidates record a vote on that legislation.

Somebody walking over 99% of the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, is called a “betrayal of trust” by someone else who walks over 100% of it, because of that 1% not being walked over, which she trusted him to do. Classic.

Feinstein, you deal with t*rds.

Don’t be surprised when the flies come.

Harry Reid is the very definition of slime, and I shall throw a party when that piece of excrement joins Dead Ted.

I’m of mixed reaction on this.
I can’t really believe that she isn’t “in” on this bill being a red herring to make a “compromise” bill sail through.

But, then again, maybe she is so fully invested in her leftist koolaid that she believed it was a good bill.

DiFi’s bill has done it its job covering for the actual Gun Control bill and making it look “reasonable.” Naturally, Reid will drop it.

Lets just hope that the ‘Pubbies have the guts to stop the existing bill.

Let’s not be fooled here. The ultimate goal is confiscation. Feinstin’s goal is confiscation. And Schumer’s “universal background check” bill lets the government know where all the guns are so they can come and get them.

Reid’s keeping his eye on the ball and looks to be putting forth a “more moderate” plan. He is not. And Feinstein is well aware of this. They are all insidious conspirators.

RE :”What Senator Reid told me is that I would have an opportunity for a vote. I take him at his word. I told him also that it would be my intention to separate out the prohibition on the future, manufacture, transfer, sales, possession of large ammunition-feeding devices of more than ten bullets. ......
It’s aimed to dry up the supply of these over time. And it came out on a 10-8 vote of the Judiciary Committee. Not to give me a vote on this would be a major betrayal of trust.

Ba-Ba’s pretty upset about this ‘major betrayal of trust’

Any word from Gabby on this ‘major betrayal of trust’ ?

Yup. It's all street theater for the masses. Good cop/bad cop sidewalk act. The U.N. treaty is the one to watch for.

Ted Cruz missed a golden opportunity the other day to ask Slimeswine on the record, if she was so horrified and shaken over the Moscone/Milk murders as she claims, that if it was reasonable to assume that she would eventually be coming for .38 revolvers?

Theres a lot of celebrating going on. It is NOT over. When things seem to be going well for our side, we are usually stumbling into an ambush.
The Assault Rifle ban is still very much alive. And they DO intend to pass it.

Keep watching.

Perhaps correct.

And we do know they are converting the (successful) OFA presidential campaign organization to attack the 2014 elections.

It’s not a good feeling.

Don’t really watch “wrasslin” on the tv (no judgement, just not my cuppa), but seems to me that this whole thing stinks of heavily scripted disappointment, betrayal, and surprise teaming up.

Wouldn’t trust any politician any farther than they could be thrown.

YMMV,
