Three people have died after a gunman opened fire killing two before shooting himself at Quantico Marine Base last night.
Authorities were called to the scene at the Marine Corps Base in Virginia at 10.30 PM yesterday and found one Marine dead at a barracks.
In the early hours of today they found a second victim dead, along with the body of the suspected gunman, who died of self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Instead of asking about guns, people should be asking why so many fracking people in the USA are angry and have nothing in their moral code that prevents them from murdering people.
Does this mean congress will be taking guns away from the Marines?
There is a mosque at Quantico. Might be a case of SJS!
If only they had the decency to do the suicide first . . .
From the whole story on the link it sure sounds like a love triangle.
Sounds like some kind of love triangle.
**and have nothing in their moral code**
Because it has been trained out of them by our moral-relativist public education system.
Please note that kids who are trained to not “judge” other’s behavior end up not being able to judge their own.

The few times he and I really got into it, the only way I escaped with my skin was to kick him in the swingset with everything I had. Once I hit age 15, I could also outrun him in a straight line, but what fun is that? Not to mention, running was the only thing even more sissified than punting his Dad'nads.
LMAO!!!!
;-)
We have not yet been informed as to the ethnic origin of the alleged gunman. Sure, that may involve ethnic profiling, but intentionally and deliberately infecting the Corps with traitors and politically unreliable agents provocateurs does not serve the interests of the American people in the least.
The easiest manner in which to weaken the enemy’s military forces is to infiltrate and sabotage the military capabilities. The man in the foxhole HAS to trust the fellow next to him, and to know that the rest of the military backs him up.
This is not paranoia. This is survival instinct surfacing.
And of course certain members of Congress and the White Hut will make exactly the wrong call on the “causes” of this mutinous act. That the perpetrator died himself excuses nothing. Was he sent in to perform this act, and if so, how was it done?
Of course, it might have just been an incident like happened in “Full Metal Jacket”, where Leonard, the flawed Marine, “solved” his own mental complexities.
It's even more tragic when you acknowledge that the entire episode could have been rendered unnecessary with three little abortions 25 years ago. Truly heartrending...

Drudge has a link to another story regarding the death by gunshot of a female sailor aboard the Amphibious Assault Ship Essex. At this point they're not saying whether it was self-inflicted or a homicide.
That’s one of the questions that needs to be asked... Who wants to bet the guy was either Muslim (a belief system) or on anti-depressants (mucked brain chemistry)?
Piers ‘Twit’ Morgan: “Ban all Marines!”
Sounds like another Prozac incident.
two bits says it is a crime of passion. Unfortunate result of having mixed sexes in close quarters.
My guess too.
Unfortunate result of having mixed sexes in close quarters.
The implications for women in combat are obvious. Men and women living together in close quarters, away from home for months at a time. What could go wrong?
not sure today but when i was in military bases were huge gun free zones. all personal weapons in the barracks were locked in the arms room. no one carried a private except to rod and gun club to shoot skeet
Why are our military bases still gun free zones. Haven’t our “leaders” noticed that criminals don’t follow the law and obeying that silly law leaves decent people defenseless?
The Marine that was killed in the barracks by the shooter worked for me before he went into the Marines. I am glad I had the chance to tell him how proud of him I was.
