Former Mississippi Gov. Ronnie Musgrove says he now regrets signing a state law in 2000 that bans same-sex couples from adopting children.
Musgrove, an attorney, served one term as governor, from January 2000 to January 2004.
The Democrat first reported his change of heart in an essay this week on the Huffington Post. He also said same-sex couples should have the right to marry.

I am sure alot voters regret voting for him...
Musgrove Must Go.
The key word here.....attorneys realize what a windfall it will be with all of the litigation involved with allowing same-sex marriage and adoptions.
What the hell is in the water?
Everybody wants to love the faggots.
The whole world is under the spell of evil.
Everybody wants to get on the Bungholers bandwagon.
Yep me included. I was a low info voter at the time. I let the MS Baptist Convention fool me once but never again.
After I saw him prissing around FBC Jackson then I knew.
Since he was booted from office, he's had a divorce and re-married, and he's returned to Batesville, home of the late, great Cliff Finch.
I remember many discussions about what it meant when God ‘hardened Pharaoh’s heart’. No one should have to wonder now.
Ya, whats with all these Republicans recently favoring homosexual marriage???
Is it because they want to be on record favoring it, because of upcoming SUpreme Court cases? What the heck???
It really seems like the wheels have come off.
I’ll be the first to thank this a**hole for signing the ban. Too late to change it now. You’re out of office, and another Dem governor is unlikely in the near future.
Musgrove is a democrat. But.....”This is the GOPe calling. Stand by for instructions on what you are to say about abortion, gun control, gay marriage and gay adoption.”
I can’t handle it anymore. Would stay drunk all the time but get sick after two beers so that’s not an option.
Reporter - Do you also agree that Polygamy and Incestuous Marriage should be Legalized and the people choosing those Lifestyles should be allowed to Adopt?
If not, why? After all, it’s all about being able to Love another person or persons. Shouldn’t it be a Civil Right?
Here is a photo of homosexual blogger Perez Hilton who just gained control of a little baby boy. The only thing sicker than this photo is the comments of "Oh how cute! What a great father he will make" that accompanied it. The world is out of control. They are killing the unborn, legalizing homosexual marriage, stealing your money through high taxes to give it to the leaches, and removing and attacking Christianity everywhere they can.
He’s already gone. He lost to Haley Barbour back in 2003.
I know. I was just reminiscing the clever campaign slogan.
Wonderful. I would like to be able to go a day or two without hearing some numbskull demanding to have an audience to hear him drone on about re-defining the institution of marriage to include homosexuals. /Facepalm
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
Some God's wrath is already upon us.
