Oklahoma Gun Owner Defends Home: “I Just Put Three Rounds in his A**” (911 AUDIO)

On Thursday, during the predawn hours of the morning, an Oklahoma gun owner defended his home while on the phone with a 911 dispatcher, proving once again that when seconds count the police are minutes away.

The homeowner, whose name has not been released, is heard on the call pleading with the dispatcher to send help immediately as the intruder was kicking down his front door.

Though, he made it pretty clear that if police didn’t arrive in the very near future, he’d take matters into his own hands.

“You better get these *expletive* here or they will die,” the man told the dispatcher.

“They’re beating on my front door right now,” he continued.

“Okay, we’ve got them on the way,” the dispatcher replied.

The intruder did not stop beating on the door. He eventually kicked it in and (to his great displeasure) was shot three times, once in the face.

“I just put three rounds in his ass,” said the homeowner, who seemed both relieved and distraught over the encounter.

The Ponca City Police arrived on the scene right after the shots were fired. They were too late

I think my semi auto 12 gauge with OO will stop him and any buddies with 3 shots.

Got it real cheap because the previous owner cut the barrel down to the legal limit and shortened the stock some. Perfect for what it is for.

“Just be sure all the entry wounds are in front. An entry wound in the back will get you in trouble...”

Not here in Texas...just know where your property line ends, and you’ll be fine.

(and no, we don’t gun-down kids that run into our yard to get a Frisbee)

Less talk would be good. 911 is for when the backhoe won’t start.

The shoot shovel and shut up approach?

“it;s why I have hollow point and I shoot for the head or heart. one round to the head or heart with hollow will do the trick”

That’s a dangerous attitude that has killed a lot of people who shot just once and then lowered, or looked over the gun to see what their shot did giving the bad guy a chance to kill them. There’s a reason most self defense instructors, and police, teach to shoot center mass and keep shooting until the threat is neutralized.

In a life or death situation odds are it will happen very fast and in conditions far less favorable than your local gun range. You will be scared, adrenaline will be pumping through your blood stream. Your fine motor skills are seriously compromised, odds are good you will miss more than you hit. And even if you hit him there is no guarantee one shot will stop the threat. Yeah, a solid shot to the head with an adequate caliber will probably stop your bad guy but it’s dark, or dim, and he’s moving and you’re moving. You sure you can make that head shot? A shot to the heart may be fatal but it doesn’t have to be immediately incapacitating. If the bad guy is on drugs or just really committed to killing you he may have time to do you harm even if he’s dying.

Me? I’m going to shoot him with .40 caliber hollow points until he stops whatever he was doing that prompted me to shoot him in the first place.

we’re not doctors, we don’t know when they are dead. you never know if you’ve fired a fatal shot, and you don’t know how long it will take someone to die from a fatal shot.

From the article: a senior Democratic legislator from Houston

I am sick of this crap. What is a "Democratic" legislator? Every article you read these days does the same thing. It wouldn't be so bad if the average American weren't so gullible, but they are. The MSM leads them by the nose.

Are the two major political parties now Republican and Democratic?

MSM needs to burn in hell.

you may want to rethink your strategy.

Although I've never actually shot at someone under these circumstances, I came damn close once and I can tell you, you won't be as calm and in control as you think. 2 things will dominate your mind: a)you are about to kill a man b) will I even be able to hit him because I'm shaking so much.

Few things get me into a frightened state, but that did.

The consequences are permanent. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying even if you do save your own life by killing someone, you still lose no matter how much of a lowlife he was or how much he deserved it.

My damn dog would start licking his face...and wag his tail off in hopes for a *cookie* treat and pick up a tennis ball

LOL! What a cutie!

Hubby and I have pretty much decided ours are the same way.

The only way they would be a deterrent to a burglar is if the guy tripped over 'em coming through the door. :-)

He’s a big baby [my fault I fear] ...at least he has a big deep bark and is *large* and black....we got *that* goin’ for us.

My latest, when the Jehovah’s come and ring the bell, is open the door, and let him at the screen door and say *WATCH OUT....I can’t control the dog!*.....they scatter like fleas.

Three was good as you need to save a few rounds in case the perp has accomplices.
One in the face though is a great start.
