She's hunting for Lamar's seat. He voted against the Coburn Amendment which passed and became law, but he voted for the Thune Amendment which failed.

What's the story with Lamar? Is he running again?

FReepmail me if you want to be on or off my Tennessee list.

I never noticed anyone with a Tennessee ping list. I'm not from Tennessee, but I'm trying to start a list for each state that includes a FReeper with a state ping list for that state if that state doesn't have one already.

If I see a story about Tennessee, I want to let you know. This is not expected to be a high volume ping list.

Do any of you have a state ping list for Tennessee? Do any of you want to volunteer and take my Tennessee list with the intent to grow it? Let me know via FReepmail. Then I can try to work on other states.

I was born in Tennessee (1944), and spent my entire life there until becoming an expat, starting around 2000, and full time expat since 2004.
I consider Tennessee to be the finest state in America, as proven by their rejection of home clown Albert Goreon.
If I HAD to return to the USSA, I would be in no other state
then Tennessee.
There is a Tennessee message board, but it is not on the general forum.

Re your state activists drive. You have a great idea .

Go to the masthead and click “accounts” then “my locale” then click on “Tennessee” to get to that state message board. There you will find FR activists select the posters that seem to be activists and ping them with the option on or off. I don’t know what party she’s running in . But you might get some reaction there. The piece your posting is pretty good except it lacks the election dates and party affiliation. It should be printed up using it as a handout using your computers printer.

Keep Up The Good Work

Great news. Somehow Alexander always wins with primary challengers.

He is not my Senator, but he is up for reelection. I would not vote for him

I’ve heard of Miss Lenard. I didn’t even know what her race was. The problem is that Lamar! isn’t naive on campaigning. He has already declared for reelection and made sure to get virtually every heavy hitter in the state behind him. You’ve got all these people spewing pro-Lamar! talking points, ignoring the fact he was rated the 6th most liberal Republican in the Senate. This isn’t Maine. This is a hyper-Republican and Conservative state now. We should be represented by someone in the top 5 most Conservative, not the bottom.

Unfortunately, even if Miss Lenard could match Lamar! dollar for dollar, our open primary and no runoff allows Democrat chicanery to put the most liberal RINO nominee forward. Until that changes and we also institute a pre-primary convention (a la Utah) to weed out RINOs and liberals, it’s going to remain exceptionally difficult to bounce Lamar! and Corker.
