Rep. John Conyers (D- Mich.) told the Detroit branch of the NAACP, “the Republican party is fading out of sight almost, so there is really only one major political party of any significance.”

Conyers made the comments at the March 12 event while discussing the need to focus on job creation.

Conyers is spitting in the wind. Yeah, his Assclown hero won in 2012...but with fewer votes and less acclimation than in 2008.

The 2010 elections were with an engaged and enlightened and energized electorate—and we are ready to do it again in 2014.

Conyers is old school liberal pathetic, and thinks because he has been in Congress since Moses was a baby that the gravy train is never gonna stop.

He is wrong.

I’d have to say, that’s about the first time I’ve ever heard Conyers say something with which I agree. The GOP hasn’t given me much reason lately to argue against it.

I think he’s talking about the party that runs the “education system” the courts, the police, all the departments of the executive branches, the entertainment industry and the “news”.

I agree with Conyers on this. The republicans as a party are nothing but losers. The leadership refuse to stand on conservative values. This is weakness at it’s extreme.

Conyers is married to a convicted ex-Detroit councilwoman who took bribes and stole money from the citizens of Detroit and the State of Michigan. Gives him a lot of credibility to talk about the plight of Deroiters.

This old scumbag has got to go.

I listened to conservative radio commentators-preachers back in the 1970’s and one of them highlighted the most left-leaning members of Congress like Ron “Red” Dellums and good old Mr. Conyers.

Conyers was noted in the 90’s as being upset with Waco and Ruby Ridge, but his motive was sheer hatred of the FBI for going after Communists back in the 1940’s and 50’s.

For all of Rick Snyder’s faults, (and he has plenty) he is attracting money to Detroit and Michigan.

I just wish he was as friendly to good old American Manufacturing is he is to tech. If I were him, I’d be all over those east coast gun manufacturers trying to survive in a hostile environment.
