We are now dealing with a very superficial society, that focuses more on images and symbolism than substance. The current administration has learned to exploit that to their benefit.

On another note, I was on an online webinar today produced by a company that does presentations. As an example, they took a powerpoint slide from the Romney campaign they said was ineffective and gave it a “makeover,” replacing a lot of the text with images.

Rush better go back to taking phone calls again. Lately it's the only live stuff on his show. He's into non-stop Hamletonian soliloquies in which he expounds on a boring subject in great minutia, only to repeat it again five minutes later, then repeat again into the next segment.

Then, into the next segment, another issue everyone is sick to death of, expound, repeat, repeat again, rinse and dry.

I feel like I'm listening to the Walking Dead....or, rather, the Talking Dead.

I wish he'd go into some issues like why is it that so many small business entrepeneurs, whether their businesses were in retail, service or privately-owned restaurants, whether they were on Main Street or any strip mall in my small town USA.....are out of business and shuttered up.

(....but like O'Reilly, make sure to NEVER go the whole distance connecting the dots between marxist, socialist and communist historic statements and Obama's statements on re-structuring our country and re-distributing the wealth......and comparing and analyzing in some detail so the folks know what the hell is going on and why).

Rush, there's other life-and-death issues both foreign and domestic to be delved into at length other than the history of cable vs. network news....and faggotry.

“Good Hair” is about the best work Chris Rock has done. A hundred years ago, I did a VoTech program in HS (cosmetology). The instructor emphatically told us (and I will never forget it) “if you don’t know “black hair” don’t try and do it.” Imagine THAT comment being made today?

And for the record, when Mooch first came on the scene, she used her real hair; then she had a “makeover” still real hair with some extensions; the new “bangs” do...wig.
