On Sean Hannity's Fox News Channel program Tuesday night, while discussing same-sex marriage, Dr. Ben Carson made the point that if we change the definition of marriage for homosexuals, what's to stop NAMBLA or those into bestiality from demanding the same.
The media, which is always ready to destroy any black man who dares think for himself, uniformly pounced today. In response to the manufactured uproar, the soft-spoken Carson (who was a hero to the left until he came out as a conservative), did the interview rounds on cable Friday, including Andrea Mitchell's show on MSNBC and Wolf Blitzer's on CNN.

NBC News obviously wants to destroy the threat of any independent-thinking black man as quickly as possible. So it should come as no surprise that, by the time Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart filled in for MSNBC's Martin Bashir, Carson's apology was treated as far from sufficient. In short, Capehart and his guests, Toure' and Krystal Ball, treated the apology as a lie.
This is all par for the course at NBC News.
Sadly, so is the chryron pictured above -- "Blinded by the White" -- which was used as the clip of Dr. Carson played during the segment.

Carson’s is a straw man argument on this particular subject, IMHO.
If (if? it's all they know....har de har har) the MSM keeps up this campaign of destruction, more than a few are gonna notice.
Further proof that the left can’t stand opposing viewpoints especially from people of color and the willing dupes in the media are only too happy to do the Democratic Party’s dirty work and take out Dr. Carson.
Nor for long... A few weeks and months of relentless and increasingly vile and demeaning commentary by the perverted socialist propagandists posing as the "media", and even Dr. Carson's mother would begin to raise questions about him. If the personal attacks and the attempts to disparage his character don't result in quick results, they POS scum in the media will just make up stories about him until he fades away and is no longer considered an alternative to the Demonic Party "plantation". It happened this last election cycle... remember Herman Cain? And what ever happened to that woman who accused him of all those "repeated sexual advances"?
This is what the left does best. Destroy good people. Their most vicious hate is reserved for “minority” group members who won’t bow down in submission at the great god of liberalism.

Herman Cain wasn’t destroyed by the left. Herman Cain was destroyed by the GOPe. Go back and look at some of the threads from that time and see how the concern trolls just couldn’t let it die.
Hmmm. . . If ever there were an opportunity for a wedge issue, this is it. When you separate the issue, as in Proposition 8, lacks are the most anti-poof voters of all.

“Whoa. I thought Dr. Carson was a good man, from all I heard. I guess he is just a black guy who lives in a mansion and doesn’t know what it is like for many of us blacks out here. Well, screw him, then. He is an Uncle Tom as far as I am concerned.”
And variations of that paragraph will be repeated ad nauseum at family get together, parties, casual conversations and such, until his reputation is so thoroughly destroyed in the black community the vile lie will simply appear to become the truth, as Dr. Carson stays to himself, immediate family and longtime friends.
I imagine that is what it has been like for Dr. Sowell.
I read Dr. Carson’s most recent book, and I like the guy as a business conservative. I don’t agree with him on everything, and I don’t think he is a conservative savior like some, but he is someone I would want on my team. He WILL be vilified and ostracized by the black community.
Until the black community can hold up men like Dr. Carson and Dr. Sowell instead of “Reverend” Jackson, Al Sharpton and Barack Obama, they are going to struggle.
Carson and Sowell want to see them rise up out of their situation, while Jackson, Sharpton andObama want to see them stay in it.
They will get away with it because they know that branding an independent thinking black man an Uncle Tom is practically a death sentence among blacks.

Libs have already discounted the first two, and science has taken care of the third. So what legal argument is there? Does government have some interest in limiting these marriages but not others?

I like Dr. Carson as a decent man but I don’t think he is the Repub’s answer to their leadership void. He should stay away from vacuous Hannity, O’Reilly types and be himself. Stay non-partison and avoid the political party BS!
