The woman works at a restaurant and rides the "L" all the time and had never been afraid on the trains. But then she found herself in the middle of one of two disturbances by groups of teens on the North Side over the weekend.
"I've never been scared like this before," said the 27-year-old woman, who asked not to be identified. "We were just minding our own business. ... It was really, really violent."
The woman said she was returning home with her mother Saturday night on the Red Line after a dim sum dinner when a group of girls got on the train at the Monroe station and appeared to want to pick a fight.

"This girl started blowing smoke in my face, and she flicked her cigarette ashes at me," said the woman. "I said: 'You need to put that out,' and the next thing I know there's all these girls that jumped on top of us."
They began punching her face and then went for her hair. She believes they had knives or box cutters, and padlocks possibly placed inside socks.
"I put my head down between my legs so they would stop beating me in the face, but they were trying to pull my face up and hit me more," she said. "They ripped out chunks of my hair, and I've got a black eye and bruises on my face, and all over my back and shoulder."

Actually NYPD used to have a program designed to stop robbery reoccurances in the 60’s and that program would work here too. They used to stake out liquor stores mostly in Harlem on the weekends with two man “hit” teams called stake out units. The teams were armed with shotguns. When a perp announced a robbery, they would pop up and start shooting. The units became known as the assination squads worked till one of the bums survived and announced on the stand at his trial he was not afforded a worning. He said his partner said stick em up and a cop jumped up and said April Fool MF and blew him away. Units were disbanded shortly afterward. So, just put stakeout squads on the trains and parks in Chicago. It may not stop crime but repeat crimes will be much lower.
Exactly why is it that you can read through the whole frigging story from the tribune and not be told these criminals were black thugs?

If the ‘funners - attackers etc’ were White it would have been the first word in the headline and probably used about 5 times in the first paragraph.
Like a ‘sitting D’ can be involved in a hit and run DUI case and you have to search for the affiliation.
If a former R dogcatcher that ran for councilman is involved in an accident the public will be informed he was/is an “R”, especially if still in the ‘public eye’.
JJ and Rev Al have also stated us ‘Whiteys’ are smarter than the Blacks because if a ‘Black Guy is set upon in a (so called) White neighborhood, it is a vicious racist attack, depriving the gentleman of his Civil Rights’.
If a ‘White Guy is set upon in a (so called) Black neighborhood, it is stated that He should have known better than to be on MLK Ave at 3AM’.
JJ publicly has made such statements....so in retrospect, he is saying that Black have Rights and Whites have (or should have) intelligence.

The CPD Superintendent says that they were just a bunch of kids out for a good time beating white people and they have the right to do so.....sarc.

What should happen but doesn’t is this; Reporters probably do get unsolicited quotes from victims which attribute the root cause to the increase in racial violence to the divisive racial rehtoric used by the regime but that never shows up in their reports.
Whether the reporter does the editing or that happens at city desk doesn’t matter much it’s not getting reported.. I think if there was a followup by a respected web or print news outlet like Malkin,Red State,or Joel Pollack at Government maybe even one of the Washington based conservative dailys and the victims were re-interviewed and the article splashed it might get people thinking.

Funny that although Obama has spoken out about a number of situations that were arguably none of his business (e.g., Professor Gates’ arrest, Trayvon Martin), he evidently has nothing to say about this incident that occured in his own “home town.”
Then one day, out of the blue, he says to me: "Sir, there are times when you get this look, and I tell everyone to stay the hell away from you. Your eyes get real small, just like a rattlesnake before it strikes. Scares the hell out of me."
LOL!!! I've put that to good use in my travels over the years. It seems to put just enough doubt in a potential assailant's mind.
If that doesn't work, humor's my next step:
"Can somebody here call 911? We're going to need a couple of ambulances in a few minutes."
IMHO, the key is to never let them see fear in your eyes.
Besides for rush hour the subways in Chicago are dangerous. I ride them daily. All the cops have been pulled from the better areas of town to tamp down the kill zones on the south and west sides this is most apparent on the subways busses and in the Starbucks. If your in the north side your on your own. I see panhandling, vomiting, bums sleeping, loud music and taking on almost every ride. The stops are were they prey and sell drugs....Chicago...Division...Laurence Ave...Wilson....Foster..all north side...all dangerous.
The bus drivers have totally givin up on maintaining order. I saw a fight the other day and the bus driver stopped and walked away leaving everyone stranded. As far as telling riders to stop yelling or playing music even fighting...LOL. They pretend all is fine. In Starbucks keeep phone in hand at all times....they wait till your distracted...one will ask you directions and the other . ...
Looks like it stands for some L-word.
So I’m at the grocery store yesterday afternoon, following an elderly black guy pushing his cart out to the parking lot and I happen to notice his stretched t-shirt bottom is partially covering a holstered hand gun....
Felt safer then...God bless him...and good for the state of VA.
