Barnicle had earlier declared that standardized tests don't teach kids how to think. And that *#$%(#$( scale at my doctor's office doesn't teach me about healthy eating and exercise either. But testing is a necessary tool to see whether the students are learning. About the only legitimate complaint I've heard about the testing is that many tests are graded pass/fail, so the schools have incentive to get the worst students to barely pass but no desire to get the good students to be great. Thus gifted programs are dumped to get a few more students to barely pass.

Thus gifted programs are dumped to get a few more students to barely pass. That's the philosophy about "No Child Left Behind" (inflicted by Bush). The incentives are to reduce the "below proficient" and to reduce the gap between black and white students (which is easier to do by sabotaging white education than by raising black achievement).
The abandonment of the great students (who are the ones who would create the businesses of the next generation) will be the downfall of the US.

I wrote a humorous flowchart that I posted on Facebook that a liberal friend objected to. I told him that my creation was in reference to Barnicle's rantings.
The liberal practically facepalmed by text, saying:
"Barnicle adds NOTHING to Morning Joe. The worn-out hack never has an insight worth a damn, only parrots what he reads on Democrat Underground, and is the cause of me switching the show off more than once. Please do not judge my liberal ideology by that vaccuous moron."
Not even liberals can stand him.

Teaching at a real school - e.g., one in which liberals and their toad sucking unions are banned and guns are not, would be a pleasure.

Those who can, do. Those who cant, teach. Those who cant teach become journalists. And those who fail as journalists, and politicians, head to MSNBC.

Because those who can, do. Those who can’t, become teachers.

One answer: High tech workers don’t have to become members of the DNC’s official pedophilia wing, also known as the NEA.

Not even liberals can stand him. For many years he was the king of the Boston Globe's Metro page B1 columnists, and when he wasn't plagiarizing stuff, he was mailing in his ". . . and Nobody Cares" column - a "tsk tsk shame on us" missive about some poor down on his or her luck soul from Mattapan or Codman Square who was trying to scrape up money for dialysis or something like that, and here we were, calling someone like Drew Bledsoe a hero. I swear he wrote so many columns like that he had the template down in MS Word, then just hit F1 to fill in some timely details (e.g., ethnic sounding last name, sports hero du jour), then filed it with the Metro desk and called it a day.
