It will never affect my gun ownership in any way. They can stick their own guns up their asses and pull the triggers for all I care.

Don’t worry: there are a lot of Democrats in the Senate in tough re-election campaigns. It’ll never pass the Senate. :)

As a child, I never imagined that I could end up as a political prisoner, Gulag-style, right here at home.

Now I can see it happening to me. But not without a fight.

Presumably the US voted FOR it too, instead of vetoing it.

You can thank Obama. He is going to get your guns one way or another.

“The U.S., however, indicated last week that it would vote for the treaty despite opposition from the pro-gun group, Reuters reported.

The National Rifle Association has portrayed the draft treaty as a threat to gun ownership rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and has lobbied to defeat the proposal at the U.N. The NRA last week praised the Senate’s passage of an amendment to the Democratic budget proposal that would prevent the U.S. from entering into the treaty.”

We live with a government subject to our Constitution & our Bill of Rights, not nutty measures set by the U.N.

Write, email or call your US Senators and tell them to vote against any foreign treaty or proposed law that diminishes our Second Amendment or other rights.

It’s a joke how they pretend to care for our well being. Right....disarm us, rewrite history, reduce education to propaganda, withhold medicine, control information, criminalize dissent... etc.

An unconstitutional treaty is no treaty at all. I think the ABA has already made that case.

However, with a living constitution, a treaty can change the meaning of the constitution such that what was once unconstitutional magically becomes constitutional.

It really doesn’t make much difference, because the Constitution as written and amended is pretty much a dead letter. The SCUSA always sides with the political elite regardless of what’s written. Otherwise the SC “justices” wouldn’t get invited to all the cool DC cocktail parties.

Hint to gun grabbers: The only way to override the Second Amendment is with a whole lot of firepower and the willingness to use that firepower on American, after American, after American, until every free person in this country is under ground (either six feet under or otherwise in hiding). Those who wish to follow that path had better be clever as well - if the government starts hunting for patriots, free Americans will not all wait to be murdered in their homes in Waco or Ruby Ridge, and some of us are not as easily intimidated as Elian Gonzales.

How much is it really worth to the far left to disarm otherwise law-abiding citizens? They had better think hard on that question, since gun registration and gun confiscation laws are inherently unconstitutional and inherently violate God's laws.
