The commander of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa has been fired for misconduct.

Army Maj. Gen. Ralph Baker was relieved of his duties on March 28, according to U.S. Africa Command spokesman Benjamin Benson.

Gen. Carter Ham, AFRICOM commander, lost confidence in Baker's ability to lead, but the command isn't releasing any further details at this time because the alleged misconduct is being appealed, Benson said.

How is Obama an improvement over Stalin?

He doesn’t kill his Generals when he gets rid of them.

My guess he didn’t kill them because these days he couldn’t keep it secret.

I wonder if he was one of the generals that wouldn’t take arms against Americans?

How many top military men has Obama fired? It really seems highly unusual.

Clinton led a Soviet style purge, I think it was about 16 Generals and Admirals and hundreds of male officers of lower ranks, it was based on possible attitudes about the females.

It is 1937 all over again; the Stalinist purges of competent military leadership to make way for political reliability proceeds apace..

Well, according to this site and numerous others, GEN Carter Ham was one of the Generals fired by Obama. But, he was the officer who relieved MG Baker. How can that be? It was on the internet, it must be true.

WOW! This sure is beginning to sound like some pattern.

Nobama is clearly making a major mistake. Open Range’s Charley Waite said he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder. Leaving all these Gemerals alive and kicking will come back to bite the kenyan, if we have any luck left.
