US Secretly Deploys B-1 Strategic Bombers, E-6 "Doomsday" Planes Near North Korea
Zerohedge.com ^ | April 5, 2013 | Tyler Durden

First the US fanfared the placement of two F-22 Raptors in the Osan airbase of South Korea. Then it demonstratively launched a B-2 stealth bomber on a training mission over a South Korean gunnery range. Then it deployed an anti-ballistic missile defense system to Guam and positioned two guided-missile destroyers in the waters near Korea. And now, courtesy of the Aviationist, we learn that the Pentagon has escalated once more in an ongoing cat and mouse game with North Korea, of who blinks first, and dispatched several B-1 ("Bone") Lancer strategic long-range bombers to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. What is different this time, however, is that unlike the previous very public and widely trumpeted reciprocal escalation steps, this particular deployment has been kept secret from the public (at least the broader public), "a fact that could be the sign that the U.S. is not only making symbolic moves (as the above mentioned ones), but it is preparing for the worst scenario: an attack on North Korea."

One case of a starving soldier being beaten for stealing some rice and he retaliated and shot 5 officers.

I'll bet they all ate good that night.

How can you say that?

A conservative got us into WWI....oh, wait, it was a liberal

A conservative got us into WWII...oh, wait, it was a liberal

A conservative dropped the nukes on Japan, oh wait, liberal

A conservative got us into Vietnam.. oh wait, liberal

A conservative.......oh wait, a liberal

Well, we’re screwed!!!

A certain very close relative who worked very long on the B1 is always very irritated they do not get publicity or accolades. In fact, they are the workhorse of the bombers, doing most of the work. Just like the good ol’ F16 is really the workhorse of the fighters but gets not too much attention.

And I personally can also vouch for the effectiveness of the submarines. But each in its turn.

Most overrated general in US history.

What he did right was politics, and that's why FDR & Truman both stuck with him and were stuck with him.  I remember my Mom & Dad saying how relieved they were when Truman named Macarthur in 1950, the guy's arrogance was just so convincing.  My uncle knew better because he'd actually served with the guy in the Philippines seven years earlier.

Everyone fawning over an arrogant narcissist who's screwing things up.   Sound familiar?

Easy, Hoss.

We ain't droppin' no nukes on NORKO. Check ya map. It's right next to SOKO and we don't want to fry, or even singe our pals.

The best strategy here would be to drop pizza, ham sandwiches, and ice cream bars behind the NORKO lines. That should disrupt their attack!

Theirs, ours has only 51% of the population if that, and as such there are more than enough of us to willing and able to remove Obama from the seen.

Of course the immediate threat of self-destruction from within or total destruction from without is not yet on Obama’s shoulders and wont be until long after Obama himself is dead and buried. (they have yet to get thou plundering half the wealth of theses united States)

It would probably take Obama and Obama like fanatics a 100 years to reduce us to the dire state North Korea is now in after 50+ years of communist rule. If Obama's cult last that long then yes they be the same.

If were lucky the north Korean drama will be finally over. If were not Obama will just cave like Clinton did and he was doing(although apparently not enough for north Korea) and in anther 10 years we will have a nuclear armed North Korea with indisputable ability to hit us, and a nasty habit of selling theses weapons to 3rd party groups such a terrorist.

Meanwhile, in the news, Guam tips over with addition of more US troops and planes there. Photos at 11.

We were stationed there in 1968 while the Viet Nam war was still going on. The entire island is only 30 miles long and 8 miles wide at its widest point! The Air Force base, Anderson AFB is on the northern point. I remember many trips by bus to the beach passing B52's all lined up, engines running and setting up to bomb the Viet Cong. I hear Guam is called the "poor man's Hawaii". Many fond memories, I'd hate to see it get hit.

I sincerely hope any missiles they set up on their launch pads and fire up, are taken out before they leave the ground. That should be all the message Junior needs that the world doesn't play chicken.

As to Bones not carrying nukes, you are correct. But my understanding is the jet’s hard points used to attach nukes are still in place. It’s just that the bolt holes have been filled with epoxy to prevent attachment of nuke munitions. To change this, all you have to do is drill out the epoxy. Of course this would put the USA in violation of START, but the fact remains that Bones “could” be used to carry nukes if we really wanted to.

This is a cult comprised of millions of people willing to die for their leader. Brainwashed and selected for obedience for generations. They would automatically reject any direct gesture from the outside world.

Any light attack or direct provocation(including “food propaganda”) will result in full artillery attack on the south. In 2010 they fired almost 200 shells at civilians after a SK shell supposedly landed in their water during training. Now imagine if we take action and still allow them the capability to retaliate.

If we wait, they will hold the world hostage with an orbiting nuke or bring something nasty across our border. The safest solution is to instantly carpet bomb the border region north of the DMZ without warning. Conventional bombs close to SK and nukes further away. Nukes only because I doubt we have enough conventional bombs to take care of it

“The best strategy here would be to drop pizza, ham sandwiches, and ice cream bars behind the NORKO lines.”

The Norks already thought of that. The people have been brainwashed to believe that anything that falls from the sky — even leaflets — has been poisoned and will kill them if they even touch it.

You make their “first salvo”, their “last salvo”.

Nobody will be doing a Pre-Emptive Strike on NK, so those 50K people in Seoul are the real Walking Dead.
