See the man who is wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.
“...demean Christianity and insist that if one accepts science one must deny the Bible...”
You got that backwards
“science”, falsely so called.
“...I wish you luck next year in the third grade....”
shouldn’t resort to insults.
But I LOL at this statement.
I don’t often.
thanks
some people insist on defining a word and claim “ownership” of it.
This person insists on using straw-man arguments, and false assumptions.
Which is what the article is all about. The “scientific” evidence does not contradict the Biblical accounts. It is just a matter of whom you will believe (Satan or Moses).
Thanks!
Either way it is backwards and useless and a denial of the brotherhood of Christian faith and exactly what militant atheists want people to believe.
So you are still not qualified to answer the questions I asked you a dozen times? You prove the assertion of the thread title!
I love science, and I was indoctrinated too, though I would have been called a Theistic evolutionist. I was young and had the same difficulty in rectifying the seemingly conflict in “modern science” and the Bible.
But I Thank God for dedicated Men (& women scientist) who saw the errors and had the courage to put their lives and careers at risk (less so now as back then).
I saw the light!
And being extreme analytical and logical as I am (to everyone's grief) I managed to put the pieces together and break the paradigm. I am a Creationist (as in interpretation). And very proud of it. But I understand the struggle, It is hard to admit your belief is wrong, especially if you like science. Sorry for long explanation (x-automotive engineer)
To say he 'reasonably answers' is a bit of a stretch. And he doesn't answer what happens to the fish, insects, and invertebrates. Can you?
“...So you are still not qualified to answer the questions I asked you a dozen times? You prove the assertion of the thread title!..”
I agree with the attacks on the Christian Faith.
“..One must first open their eyes to see...”
I am glad I can count on you.
Thanks!
I could have written the exact same thing as you just did.
I’m an electrical engineer myself...
The “conflicts” were a huge stumbling block for me.
The brave scientists that showed me that there are no conflicts, just false assumptions, cleared that block for me.
I can.
Try John C. Whitcomb and Henry M. Morris’ book.
“The GenesisFlood”
They give a better discussion than myself in the space and time available to me.
This is very basic answer.
(less emotional)
thanks
How about a quick summary?
Pitiable and useless. Creationists must keep their eyes closed to the evidence of the truely amazing mechanisms of God’s universe. Creationism is useless.
“..Pitiable and useless...”
I disagree, Creation IS the mechanism,
but you may have the last word.
Well it deals with the hydraulics and geology.
How animals could survive on ark.
and which many may not have survived even after the flood.
Fish and invertebrate:
Only air breathing needed saving (land dwelling)
as for insects:
Some may have rode out the flood on debris, and or their eggs. Plus as stowaways they would have occupied any place on the ark they wanted. Some insects hibernate.
Of course their importance to the ecosystem can not be debated.
Just as important is the Hand of God in all this.
Creation is ongoing and magic miracles are not the mechanism. I was created by God from dust, and to dust my body will return. The mechanism of my physical creation required no miraculous intervention.
I don't think the two Genesis Creation accounts can be interpreted literally due to the fact that there are two Genesis accounts describing the Creator with two very different names.
To qualify to discuss a topic, one must understand the topic first.
That is only YOUR opinion...for what that’s worth, and only an opinion.
Like Mine!!
:)
two Genesis accounts describing the Creator with two very different names....”
