Until 1964 the immigration quotats were based on the respective population numbers, that is, if 37% of the population was of Irish desent then that was the percent of new Irish emigrants to be given visas. Guess who changed that and made the visa avaiable to NON EUROPEANS. Teddy Kennedy (Sewer Trout-Mass), a Democat, the same party of Jim Crow, the KKK and who fought the Civil Rigts Movement of the 1960’s. And his spawn have the balls to standup and demand imigration reform, no thanks I have seen the “help” the Kennedys provide.

US Applying for Third World Status
BernardGoldberg.com ^ | April 11, 2013 | Burt Prelutsky
FR Posted by SJackson

If the US isn’t yet a third world nation, it’s not because we’re not trying. As if the Congressional Black Caucus isn’t bad enough, there is an even larger group calling itself the Congressional Progressive Caucus. It has even more members, including the entire Black Caucus. Its co-chairmen are Keith Ellison, who chose to be sworn into office with his hand on the Koran, and Raul Grijalva, whose resume includes having been a leader of both the racist Raza Unida Party and the Chicano Liberation Committee.

As if that’s not bad enough, the Vice-Chair is Sheila Jackson Lee, the Whip is Barbara Lee, and Bernie Sanders, the only left-winger honest enough to identify himself as a Socialist, is the lone Senate member. This group is so far to the Left, that even Henry Waxman, one of a minority of House Democrats who actually voted to continue funding ACORN even after those scandalous videos were made public by the late Andrew Breitbart, isn’t a member.

When Allen West announced there were over 80 members of Congress who were communists, he was pilloried. That is often the price for telling the truth in America.

When you see scores of these dimwits being elected to high office, you have reason to worry about this nation’s future. Although I don’t know exactly how they measure such things, but the National Journal determined that the most liberal members of the Senate were Rich Blumenthal (Connecticut), Tom Udall (New Mexico), Dick Durbin (Illinois), Al Franken (Minnesota), Patty Murray (Washington) and Frank Lautenberg (New Jersey). Is it any wonder that the South is thriving?

The headline is somewhat misleading. If the Lawyer can not speak to the client (language) then yes it is required that an interpreter or new lawyer be used. He (the accused) will still stand trial WHEN he can communicate with his counsel

The headline and the article.

from my home page

___________________________________________________________________

Whenever an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or something similar, here’s what I recommend:
What can we do about it? Here’s my standard post.

RICO —Citizen Recourse

Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.

Here’s what I’ve been pushing: it’s time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.

RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. I’m surprised they haven’t done it already.

In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens like this jerk.

Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, I’m going to point out that the victim’s family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and they’ll all simply want to go back home.

If I were the deceased’s father, I’d have paid that bastard’s bail and then followed him and pumped a few 45 ACP slugs in his head.

I agree that it’s misleading. Part of that is due to the Judge’s ruling. She should just rule that the guy needs an interpreter, not that he’s incompetent to stand trial.

On the other hand, this kind of muddled legal reasoning is the result of a muddled liberal outlook that recognizes “multiculturalism.” For that, I blame neither the judge nor Governor Patrick who appointed her. I blame an electorate stupid enough to tolerate this.

We get the government we vote for.

In this case, I think the judge is being careful, because if he ordered a trial right now, the appeals court would probably overturn it on just those grounds, that he was unable to adequately defend himself.

Admittedly, he has been before US judges before, and typically they would not fuss with this; but in this case, the charges are so serious that the judge wants the trial to be impeccable.

Importantly, the one person *not* cited in the story was the prosecutor, who probably agrees with the judge, for the same reason.

Great, now these activist judges will offer law breaking border invaders a pass for their despicable crimes because they don't speak the language and weren't raised here where you have a lifetime to learn basic laws.

If I didn't know better, I'd think there was some mind altering substance administered to politicians, judges and a portion of the citizens known as liberals and we conservatives somehow managed to avoid being infected.

Denice wasn’t killed by being dragged, though he was dragged a long way. He didn’t die until Guaman backed the truck over Denice’s body.

Nice for an assassin. Quiet. Efficient.

I’m not that. I wouldn’t want his family to be able to
have an open casket funeral.

In MA you need 3 qualifications to be a judge.

(1) You must be a bust out/failed lawyer.

(2) You must be a very, very liberal Democrat.

(3) You must be able to scrape together enough $ to give to the right Democrats & Democrat organizations.

Meet these 3 qualifications, & you can be a lifetime judge w unbelievable perks & benefits. You can have any kind of criminal, perv, DUI, conflict of interest or any other questionable background. It doesn’t matter. Once you are nominated, you will be a judge.

As a judge, you can continue to accumulate DUIs, & many do. You can let almost 100% of the DUIs that come before your bench off w’out even a wrist slap, & many do. Nothing matters.

The Governor’s Council is supposed to vet judge nominees & reject the worst ones. It is a complete rubber stamp group that says ‘yes’ no matter how sordid the candidate’s past may be. There was one (1) Governor’s Councilor who actually did her job: Mary Ellen Manning. She exposed how horrific the backgrounds of many of the candidates were. The nominees got in anyway, but her insolence couldn’t be tolerated. She was defeated at the polls, & now nobody on the Governor’s Council even attempts to investigate the background of these about-to-be lifetime-judges.

Yet some tell us the US court system is healthy & functioning well. They say it’s not 100% ideologically driven. They say we should respect judge’s decisions because...well, because they are ‘judges’, & therefore smarter than we are.

You just hope these people don’t believe their own propaganda. That really would be scary.

These are the people politicians in Washinton want to reward. Judge Janet Kinton-Walker is unfit to be a judge.

Being an illegal alien should be an aggravating circumstance to any crime. Whatever Guzman is being tried for, he should be punished for pre-meditated murder and executed (wishful thinking) upon conviction.
