We've just received word that the former Delphi Tower in Saginaw Michigan has been evacuated, and that it's being treated as a HAZMAT situation. Police, Fire, and HAZMAT crews are on the scene. The building houses the Saginaw offices of US Senator Carl Levin.
Little else is known, but we were contacted by one evacuee who told us that "Levin got a suspicious letter in the mail."
Given the two recent Ricin-tainted letters received in D.C., we assume they're taking no chances.

You’re thinking of it very narrowly. Think of it more broadly. They’re going to use this to enact martial law or at least tighten police control over urban and suburban areas.
DHS wants to inject itself into our communities. The more excuses they have, the more likely you’ll see MRAPs rolling through your neighborhood.

i’m torn over MRAPs. i don’t want dhs to have them, but a lot of them are made here in MI- including the one my brother in law drove when he was in iraq.

Ever notice how we don’t ever hear from the madmen in previous situations? We’ll never hear from Loughner or Holmes on their involvement. We’ll never know if they were “hired” or made a patsy in any of these events. They’re both drugged out of their minds with anti-psychotics to the point that they’re drooling idiots incapable of forming coherent sentences. And of course Lanza is dead. It’s all very convenient, no?
Yet, McVeigh’s manifesto was trotted out and read with zeal by the MSM. He was painted as a crazy man, yet so many men of that time took what he said as having at least a grain of sense embedded in it.
Our Founders were also men of conviction. Men who, despite being separated by an ocean, were willing to stand up to the entire army of a king for their freedom. They would be considered “mad” by current standards, yet from their revolutionary ideas sprang a nation of greatness.
If the Boston bomber comes out as a right-wing, anti-government extremist, you can bet your bottom dollar that we’ll have manifestos and writings and Facebook postings all bragging about what he stood for. The media will trot it out like a circus.
If, however, the Boston bomber is a leftist or a Muslim or a Communist, every last bit of evidence on the web, on computers, anywhere will be scrubbed. The media will be silent. It will quickly fall into a historical oubliette, forever doomed to another “has been” massacre that didn’t involve guns but explosives, which are regulated moreso than guns in every way; but with that level of regulation being sought for guns, it’s no wonder why they’re silent.
Against our enemies, let’s roll! Against Americans and Patriots on our own soil, absolutely, unequivocally NO!

The guy who send the letters is a democrat... this story won’t even appear in the papers other than to offer some lame excuse for the guy...
I think that we’ll be seeing what passes for the news media start to pull off their water carrying for the Demwits, to some extent, to avoid two consecutive POTUS from the Party of Treason.
