Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said that he will support the Assault Weapon Ban against what he calls conspiracy theorists, black helicopters and false flags:

“I’ll vote for the ban because saving the lives of police officers, young and old, and innocent civilians, young and old, is more important than preventing imagined tyranny,”

The founders wrote the first amendment to protect political speech, and the second amendment to protect the first.

But Lefties want us to believe the only thing the first amendment protects is pornography, and the second amendment only applies to the government.

My favorite part. There is no ambiguity, no parsing of the simple language.
Anyone challenging the Second Amendment (as clearly written) must be charged with treason, and subject to serious mandatory jail time.

But that's just it; by making it this way I can capitalize on people's tendency to read in what they want -- it'd be sellable to congress-types because they would see it as supporting their power-plays, while the second-amendment loving could use it as a political statement meaning that (a) they read the 2nd, and (b) that they are tired of the politician-caste thinking they're above Justice.

Honestly I think its more funny to take a recognizable picture of Americans at Lexington and Concord(or anther Pre-independence battle) defending themselves form a British attack. Then superimpose Harry Reid’s statement on top of it.

And still, nobody does anything. This was the entire purpose for the Second Amendment being included in the Bill of Rights. The time to act passed over 100 years ago. We deserve what comes our way now.
