Those Newtown parents reminded me of the 4 harpies in Jersey after 9/11 and how Kerry used them in his campaign.

I have compassion for the loss suffered by the Newtown parents but they DID receive closure because the killer was himself killed. There are many acts of violence committed in this world where closure NEVER comes so they should be satisfied and how DARE they think interfering with my freedom to protect myself and my family is ever a good thing.

The good guys finally won one and Obastard and the gun controllers received a setback yesterday but I’m sure the bastards won’t give up but it will not go well for them.

New Jersey is trying to pull the same shitty legislation and for that I am getting out of NJ for good and heading for North Carolina or Texas where we can breathe free air.

“The rout also vindicates Republicans who wanted the Senate to vote on the gun bill as opposed to the Rand Paul-Ted Cruz faction who sought a filibuster. “

Vindicates?
Hardly.
Enough GOP-e sellouts exist that such a move is tickling the dragons tail.
We got extremely lucky.
We may not be so lucky next time.
Look to New York for an example of UNlucky.

So much for the first big liberal hope of Mr. Obama's second term. Maybe he should consider a centrist strategy from now on.

SOMEbody hasn't been paying ATTENTION.

He will double-, triple-, and quadruple-down.

Zero was claiming that the minority held up "common sense" gun control.

There are 53 Democrats and 47 Republicans in the Senate.

60 were needed.

That means even if the vote split right down party lines, it wouldn't pass..

Sooooo...that means ALL the democrats had to vote for it PLUS 7 Republicans. (I guess Zero's idea of bipartisanship, I get all of mine plus MOST of yours)

Instead they got 58 of the needed 60, with 4 dems jumping ship. That means 9 republicans went to his side.

It was a good thing for him he went to school in some other country. He's such a nancy boy, he would have had a beat down every day, just by the girls alone, if he would have gone to school in the US.

President Obama and the term 'lame duck'

I prefer to think of Zero as a lame f*ck.

RE :”Those Newtown parents reminded me of the 4 harpies in Jersey after 9/11 and how Kerry used them in his campaign.”

I forgot all about them.

Kriston Britweiser and the Jersey girls who kept on going on MSNBC and NBC and blaming GWB for 9/11. She lied and claimed she was Republican I recall.

Bush deserves blame for lots of things after 8 years but blaming him for 9/11 his first year was just pure political opportunism.

Good resource, thanks for that.

Probably a LOT of folks out there not putting in anywhere NEAR the practice time they'd like.

-——the more ineffective he will be——

I think he will become more vindictivly dangerous.

Case in point.......

Governor Haslem of Tennessee appeared to be dithering before coming out in opposition to Obamacare exchanges for Tennessee. He was weighing the presidential threat

This week the IRS and FBI invaded the Knoxville corporate offices of Pilot/Flying J with a search warrant.

The message is pretty clear....... don’t screw with the president or I will hurt your families.

With this kind of vindictive action, Obama will be doing very well to be alive on the last day of his term.

My Mom’s old canning/pressure cooker is on a shelf in her basement. Should I call the sheriff to come pick it up, just to be on the safe side?

No, I’ll just smuggle it to my house. It’s great for making boiled peanuts in a fraction of the usual time spent stirring an open kettle. Public safety be d***ed. /s

“And shamelessly use those Newtown parents who in the end he did nothing for.”

There is absolutely NOTHING Obama can do for the grieving in Newtown.

Well, there are two things he could do.

Sit down and shut up.

It’s all a setup, it was never expected to pass although everyone wanted us to think it was close. The whole goal, scream and yell going into the midterm elections, vote,vote,vote... and for sure we will! It was a big day yesterday, how and who drives the message to low information voters from here on out matters greatly!

More than that according to MSNBC they were key in getting the new and strict CT gun laws passed by dogging those assembly members with pictures and emotions. But it didnt work the same way in the US Senate.

So it was quite arrogant of them from CT where they got their laws to join Obama in trying to impose similar restrictions(in the end whatever they could get) on states like Texas, even if you like the ideas.

Do we make all MSNBC certified victims a King for the day?

He has an amazing life-insurance policy in Joe Biden.
