Investigators believe the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing were likely planning other attacks based on the cache of weapons uncovered, the city's police commissioner said Sunday.
Commissioner Ed Davis told CBS' "Face the Nation" that authorities found an arsenal of homemade explosives after a gun battle between police and the suspects in the Boston suburb of Watertown early Friday.
"We have reason to believe, based upon the evidence that was found at that scene - the explosions, the explosive ordnance that was unexploded and the firepower that they had - that they were going to attack other individuals," Davis said. "That's my belief at this point."

I don’t understand how abnybody with at least two IQ points to rub together could POSSIBLY believe that, after committing an attack like the BMA (Bosten Marathon Attack)they WOULDN’T be ID’d in a matter of hours at most. In 1955? OK, no ID. But in modern America? Please.
The Terrorists may have had some extra weapons etc, but the lack of money post attack coupled with the reality that the attack itself would defacto be one of the most filmed events of the year, more than just suggests to me that it had been planned as a suicide attack.

“Individuals” is a strange way of putting it. This person may not be very well spoken and may think he was saying merely that the terrorists had plans to carry out other attacks. But saying “individuals” makes it sound as if they had some targeted attacks in mind.
The boys were living large and I don’t think they planned to kill themselves ( the Chechens in Russia didn’t). Somebody else may have had that in mind for them - whoever supplied the fancy cars to unemployed or barely employed teenagers and useless 20-somethings.
I have now imbedded lard or SPAM in the hollowpoints in my concealed carry handgun ammo. Being in the rural West, I doubt that I’ll ever run into these types of Bozos, but just in case . . .
Now, the rest of us CCWs ought to do the same, or at least say we do, and let it be known far and wide. These Muzzie Jihadists don’t fear physical death, but being taken out with a pig-greased bullet will condemn them forever - at least in their minds - and that’s what counts. Just might defer some of them. If not, head shots will.

Probably in the end, yes, but it’s quite possible that they thought they’d have a longer run before getting made. They were being used - directly or indirectly - by people higher up the terrorism food chain.
If they spent time watching the MSM, they probably figured that the US was looking for Christian Bible Thumping Gun Toting Neanderthals.
If they spent time searching the internet, they probably figured they had pinned the bombing on the Saudis.
