PLAY YOUR PART
So they came to John and reported to him, Rabbi, the Man Who was with you on the other side of the Jordan. . .notice, here He is baptizing too, and everybody is flocking to Him! John 3:26 John the Baptist came to prepare the way for the Lord. That was his purpose on earth and he knew it. But Johns disciples tried to incite him to jealousy over Jesus ministry! John replied, A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source (John 3:27).
You have a unique role in the body of Christ. There is no point in being jealous of someone elses spiritual gifts or ministry. God is the only source for gifts and His plan is perfect for each of us. If your gift is giving, then give with zeal. If your gift is helping, then help somebody! Rather than worrying about what others are doing, figure out what God wants and go do it!

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. " (Joshua 1:9 KJV)
The Lords Prayer Andrea Bocelli (Click)
DEAR LORD, who suffered torment, agony, and death upon the Cross to free our souls from the chains of iniquity, protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the performance of their duties. Strengthen them to endure hardship, danger and deprivation in Your service. Let their efforts free the people of Iraq and Afghanistan from the chains of terror and slavery, foster a lasting peace in the region, and bring all to a greater share in Your Mercy.
Amen.

I will be emceeing, accompanying vocalists on piano, playing bass for my guitar students, and singing for the kids who play, but don’t sing. Not to mention hauling equipment, setting it up, doing a sound check, and tuning all the guitars.
I do this two times a year (slitting up the students into two groups because otherwise it would be too L-O-N-G!

LORD, NOW LETTEST THOU THY SERVANT DEPART IN PEACE
NUNC DIMITTIS Geoffrey Burgon (Click)
Nunc dimittis servum tuum, Domine, secundum verbum tuum in pace: Quia viderunt oculi mei salutare tuum Quod parasti ante faciem omnium populorum: Lumen ad revelationem gentium, et gloriam plebis tuae Israel.
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
