The Good Guys Are Not Coming To Save Us
Free-Man's Perspective ^ | 4/25/2013 | Paul Rosenberg

Posted on 04/28/2013 5:41:03 AM PDT by IbJensen

A lot of Americans know that the US government is out of control. Anyone who has cared enough to study the US Constitution even a little knows this. Still, very few of these people are taking any significant action, and largely because of one error: They are waiting for “the good guys” to show up and fix things.

Some think that certain groups of politicians will pull it together and fix things, or that one magnificent politician will ride in to fix things. Others think that certain members of the military will step in and slap the politicians back into line. And, I’m sure there are other variations.

There are several problems with this. I’ll start with the small issues: 1.It doesn’t happen. A lot of good people have latched on to one grand possibility after another, waiting for a good guy to save the day, and it just doesn’t happen. Thousands of hours of reading, writing and waiting are burned with each new “great light” who comes along with a promise to run the system in the “right” way, and give us liberty and truth. (Or whatever.) Lots of decent folks grab on to one pleasant dream after another, only to end up right back where they started… but poorer in time, energy and finances. 2.Hope is a scam. It’s a dream of someday, somehow, getting something for nothing. People who hope do not act – they wait for other people to act. Hope is a tool to neuter a natural opposition: they sit and hope, and never act against you. Even the biblical meaning of hope is something more like expectation (or sometimes waiting) than the modern use of hope. 3.Petitioning an abuser for compassion. The “good guys” are considered to be a few people inside the abusive government. But if the good guys were really good, wouldn’t they have dissociated themselves with an abuser some time ago? By pleading for the good guys to rise up, people are asking one sub-group of the abusers to save them from the rest of the abusers. However, they all work for the same operation; they all get paid out of the same offices; according to the same rulebook. And if the good guys are so willing to turn against their employers, why would they have waited until now? 4.Movies. We all grew up in the company of movie heroes who rode in at the last minute to save the noble victims. From John Wayne to Star Trek to Bruce Willis, the story line differs little. These are pleasant stories, of course, but cinema is not reality, and hoping for it to become reality is something that we should get over prior to adulthood.

But, as I say, those are the smaller issues. Let’s move on to the serious ones.

The Magic System

A lot of Americans believe that the American “Founders” created a system that automatically fixes itself. They talk about the “balance of powers,” and think that it will always save them from a tyrant. The balanced powers of the US Constitution, however, were trashed within fifteen years and doubly-trashed just a century ago.

In the Constitution, the states balanced the power of the national government (the one now in Washington, DC.) Not only did the states control half of the legislature, but they decided if and how they would implement the edicts of the national government. And that included deciding whether a law was constitutional or not.

This changed in 1803 with the Marbury v. Madison ruling. This ruling – taught as a work of genius in American schools – was a fraud against the US Constitution. In it, the Supreme Court held that they understood the Constitution better than James Madison, the man who wrote it!

But worse than even this, they held – with absolutely no basis – that it was they who would decide what was constitutional or not. The states were tossed aside. Even the sitting President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, called it “a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.”

Marbury’s Judicial review (the Supremes ruling on constitutionality) merely involves one branch of the national government providing a check on the other branches of the national government. After Marbury, no one could check the national government.

Washington DC was unleashed with Marbury v. Madison. What made it almighty was the 17th Amendment of 1913, which took the powers of the states and transferred them to Washington, by mandating the popular election of senators.

With senators being elected directly by the populace, the states were cut-out of the equation. In their place, political parties gained massive power, and nearly all power was consolidated in the city of Washington.

And so it is today. Washington is an unfettered beast. The system will NOT fix itself; the mechanisms to do that were lost a long time ago.

The Easy Way Out

Standing up against a beast like Washington DC is scary, to be sure. Understandably, not many people want to do such a thing. But if the beast is abusing you, what other choice do you have? You can certainly avoid or evade the beast, but we all know that the beast hurts people it catches avoiding it, so the risk of doing this isn’t zero either.

So, what’s a person to do? They hate their abuse, but outright disobedience would be scary. Unfortunately, many people have come up with a third option: Get someone else to do it for you.

Lots of writers have done this, for example: Write flamboyantly about the abuses people face and stir them to “rise up against the power.” Fairly seldom does the writer take big risks himself – he just stirs up others to do the scary stuff.

Something very similar happens to basically moral people who don’t want to risk pain and suffering: they imagine good guys riding in to save them.

But, as I say, these are genuinely decent people, and they are willing to take smaller risks to help the good guys: They will spend time and money promoting them, and they will even accept name-calling in many cases. They just don’t want to become full-blown rebels and outcasts.

The result of this is predictable: abuse by the political class. If the politicians show them a viable possibility every election cycle, they’ll keep voting their way forever… and the hero never really has to show up.

The Sad Truth

Let’s just say it:

No one is going to ride in and save you.

If you want things to get better, then YOU will have to make them better. YOU will have to stand up and take the arrows, yourself. Liberty, at this stage of human development, requires risk and pain.

I trust that you will remember the end of Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount: That it is not those who call upon his name who will be saved, but only those who DO the things he said.

Likewise in this situation, our only hope of salvation lies in DOING.

Americans must cease waiting around for false "heroes" to save us and start working to save ourselves by actually doing something about the seemingly abysmal problem that confronts us, lives in the White Hut and stalks the halls of Congress.

Our job, in order to defend our families and all future generations, is to stand against evil, PERIOD. We must never remain apathetic in the hope that now is the time for the Second Coming. The evil that has taken over this nation is not defensible. Satan never is. We've allowed an unknown usurper to take over the executive branch of our government and watched as he filled all the slots with the most despicable evil cabal to ever visit itself on any nation in history.

We must all become St. George's and ride out to confront this dragon that has promised Satan to destroy us.

Bonnie Tyler had her own thoughts on heroes:

Where have all good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where’s the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?

Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life (larger than life...)

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There’s someone reaching back for me

Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
Isn’t there a superman to sweep me off my feet

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
( From: http://www.elyrics.net )
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there is someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like a fire in my blood

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night

My thought:
If you’re a conservative looking for a hero, look in the mirror.

The article is spot on.

I hate to say it, but it looks like a revolt is the only thing that will happen to change anything.

This is a duplicate post/thread of the same article ... but never the less ... here is what I posted on the original ...

The advent of the Internet with Social Interaction sites, forum sites, etc. has become part of the solution but also part of the problem ... Nearly instant Internet communications has allowed us to become painfully aware of current events, the abuses of the obama Administration and the Dems, the uselessness of the Republican Party, the sloth of Government Bureauracy ... Thus we come alarmed... we rant and rave, we even work to elect some great hope who will rescue us. But on the flip side the vast majority of us sit at home safely and DO NOTHING but type ... And that is the problem. Sitting behind a computer and spreading the word helps - helps a lot ... BUT it is FAR FROM A SOLUTUION ... Unless we get off our chairs - out of the offices and on to the streets - NOTHING will happen. Pontificating on FR or FB is not solving the problem - not even close. I posted this link yesterday on another FR thread ... I hope it can be part of the sobering up process. But I just don’t know if there is any real chance of any real action from the masses... It reminds me of a line out of the movie Sophie’s Choice... Her boyfriend sadly laments “Sophie sure likes to say F_(K but she can’t do it”...

There will be no revolt. There might be a few brush fires here and there from small groups. But, there will be no large, organized, revolt. The feds, along with their state buddies, upon the first noise, will hit with their mass troops, including military, and there will be no revolt. There will be interments in those camps, that you can count on. Even small brush fires will be quickly washed away. The only way to organize anything that large is through the Internet and out loud. The moment the dictator in Sodom on the Potomac and the feds get a clue of something like that, they will strike. America as a free nation is gone. We can hope all we might, but the feds control it. It is no difference in which party is on the throne. The Congress knows who pays the bills for them, and they will vote with the dictator to control the masses. They certainly don’t want to love their golden egg nest. Clue: their trying to get out of being under Obamacare. Doing deals with the devil to keep their own little golden health care plan.

Look at what happened at Watertown.

The jack-booted, armored and militarily armed thugs, those sworn to "serve and protect," went house to house and rousted the sheep from their homes. No warrants, no probable cause, no observed fleeing suspect entering the homes were in place.

Was there one American who didn't put up his/her hands and challenge the evil? Out of the dozens of families rousted from their castles, was there one that kept the door shut in the face of tyranny?

Watertown serves as a blueprint for the American Gestapo on how to disarm and dispossess the sheeple. And make no mistake, despite our bluster and polemic, who among us will want to give up his life of internet, technology, travel, satiation, and physical comfort for the mere principle of momentary liberty? ..or for the mere surrender of weapons? ..or the confiscation of one's bank account and savings? ..or the elimination of your job so that a member of some victim class can step in and take your salary?

When 15 SWAT boys show up at your door and, under any pretext, order you to perp-walk out onto the lawn, will you be the one guy in Amerika to say "No?" Keep in mind, the official story will make you the bad guy, and the 'press' will most likely not report your tragic demise..

There is more to it than good people just sitting on their hands waiting for a miracle.

The traitors are have taken over the government, have a fantastic amount of power and are itching for a chance to use it against American citizens.

Obama’s government has tanks, drones, millions of rifles, billions of bullets, thousands of people willing to kill other Americans and is comprised of traitorous political leaders just waiting for an excuse to turn that power lose on anyone who stands in their way.

Can’t happen here?

It can happen, it has happened and it is happening.
We have see what happens when the government is challenged or is presented with an opportunity to use its power.

Just about every week there is a story about a SWAT team (militarized law enforcement) somewhere terrorizing citizens, shooting them, killing their pets, carting innocent people off in the middle of the night.

And look what happened at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Waco: The slaughter of American citizens, men, women, children and babies by the federal government using overwhelming military power.

Ruby Ridge: Federal snipers killing a woman and her child in cold blood.

No due process in either case.

Imagine if Obama and Napolitano have an excuse to use their power against citizens they deem to be domestic t6errorists - That would be Christians, military vets, constitutionalists, Tea Partiers, and other “Bitter Clingers.”

re: “Likewise in this situation, our only hope of salvation lies in DOING.”

So, you are saying what?? You say the Constitution has been trashed (which I agree) and that it cannot be fixed without violence (I disagree)? You say voting is pointless. So what’s left? Why don’t you come out and say it? You, if I’m reading you correctly, are advocating civil war. If that’s what you’re saying, then who do we shoot first? Whom do you say should die first?

If I am misreading what you are saying, I apologize, but if you are indeed advocating such a thing, you are very, very naive.

I am not opposed to defending my family, friends, loved ones, or our country and the ideals upon which it was founded. That includes taking up arms. However, there are some on this site who seem to relish, even wish for a second civil war. There may come a time when that happens, but to promote such a thing and think that such an event will turn out for the better - that is very wishful thinking.

I am not waiting for a knight in shining armor - I’m not waiting for some hero to “fix” everything. I will still keep talking with other Americans (family, friends, co-workers) and attempt to change their minds through discourse. How about getting involved in your local political party and get others of like minds to as well? Try changing the platform. Try pushing for conservatives as candidates. You may say, “we’ve already tried that and it does no good”. Well, you try and try and try again.

You don’t go making grandiose statements implying some kind of revolution and condemning “all us poor sheep” because we don’t pick up arms and follow - who exactly? You?

If such a civil war happens, it will happen when the government physically attempts to disarm us on a nationwide scale. I don’t just mean pass gun confiscation laws, I mean when the government attempts to physically take them out of our hands on a national scale. It will happen when government officials/officers attempt to physically incarcerate Americans for refusing to shut down radio stations, TV stations, internet sites that are critical of the government. It will happen when government agents start physically incarcerating American pastors, priests, and church members for expressing their religious beliefs that speak out against immorality and sinful behavior. It will happen when the federal government refuses to allow Americans to home school their kids. It will happen when the federal government, on a national scale, tries to take parent’s children because the parents do not cooperate with the federal agenda. Violence will ensue at that point I think. Not right away, but it will.

Americans are traditionally peaceful and law abiding, but we will not be like the German people who passively stood by while the Nazi’s did what they did. We DID revolt against tyranny once. We DID go to war with each other over issues that had no compromise. Americans will fight when pushed against the wall (i.e. Flight 93 on September 11). That spirit is not gone.

But even if it does and Americans rise up to revolt - what is the agenda? Who are the leaders?

This is my problem with what you and other CW2 advocates say. You blithely call for such a thing, thinking we will somehow return to our Constitutional roots. There is no guarantee that that will happen. We may wind up with something much worse.

Do not wish for such a thing as civil war. Do not spew out these trite phrases like, “Our job is to stand against evil, PERIOD” and “We must all become St. George’s and ride out to confront this dragon. . .” I ask again, ride out and do what??

Do not act as though it is a forgone conclusion that it will lead to some Constitutional “refounding”. God help us if real civil war breaks out. I do not pray or wish for it to happen. If it does, I will do my part as best I can, but never, never spew out these “heroic” statements that we are “standing against evil” or ride out and “kill the dragon” of satan. War is ugly, innocent and guilty will both die. Civil wars are especially brutal. Yes, defend one’s family, friends, and cooperate with all like-minded Constitution loving Americans - but purposely start some kind of revolution? No.

I have the same question about Watertown. Was there really not ONE person that at least voiced their disgust over this, refused to open the door or said ‘no’? Is it possible there were and they were not shown so we would only have images of docile sheep as a warning of what is expected of us? I mean I know it’s liberal Massachusetts, but with that big of an operation I can’t believe there weren’t even a FEW dissenters.

Unfortunately, from watching current events unfold, there have already been instances of EVERY single one of your “it will only be justified when the government ..... (insert transgression here)”.

It's a masterful plan of “creeping implementation” and “slow boiling of the frog”.

99% of this nation's voters have NO clue that they are in the hot water. Yikes 99% of the elected gubmint officials, when they are occasionally confronted with factual evidence UNIVERSALLY respond with “I had no idea that .....”, because they are insulated by their staffs and live in a fantasy land, like all the celeblibtards.

Police Say The Naked Man Arrested In Boston Was Not Tamerlan Tsarnaev

Both his nutty parents and his straight up Uncle say they are 100% certain this video is Tamerlan. Look at any of the pictures we have of Tamerlan, we can all agree that his most significant feature is his nose. Now, look at the crystall clear video images. This naked man is obviously Tamerlan beyond any reasonable doubt.

On Thursday night while police were hunting in Watertown, Mass. for bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, at one point they arrested a naked man who looks a lot like Tamerlan.

Police say the naked man is not Tamerlan, despite various conspiracy theories going around the Internet.

According to the official account, Tamerlan died after a shootout with cops, riddled with bullets and shrapnel before being run over by his brother who was fleeing the scene in an SUV.

Take a look: I dare you!

http://www.businessinsider.com/the-naked-man-mystery-role-in-boston-2013-4#ixzz2RnIPaCad

FBI

The Watertown police department got back to us via email just to say that the naked man was not Tamerlan Tsarnaev (pictured on right and in high-res here).

The shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers occurred on Laurel Street. The journalist interviewed in this video describes naked man’s capture near Nichols and Dexter, literally down the street from the shootout.

Naked man was apparently stripped, questioned, clothed, questioned some more, and reportedly let go. It’s likely police stripped him because they were under citywide bomb threat and wanted to make sure he didn’t have a suicide vest, but the police did not comment on that.

Needless to say, Business Insider is interested to hear Naked Man’s personal story — send any tips to tips@businessinsider.com.

Have any of you viewed the CNN footage of a Crisis Actor that was interviewed at the bombing and four days later as a witness to the Watertown shootout. If you’re still with me, I would be happy to PM you.

Yes, they are, Mr.President

Boston Terror, CIA’s Graham Fuller & CIA Operation-the Caucasus

Saturday, 27. April 2013 by Sibel Edmonds

Graham Fuller: Edmonds’ State Secrets Privilege, FBI Gladio-B Target, Handler-Sponsor of Turkey’s Imam Gulen

A major break in the Boston Terror CIA Connection took place last night when I came across a post outing CIA Operative Graham Fuller as the father of the woman married to Boston terror suspect’s infamous uncle Ruslan Tsarni.

Further confirmation of this bombshell was received via mainstream reporter Laura Rozen here. Let me first provide a few excerpts from the original reporting site (a real alternative media):

Boston Bombers’ Uncle Married Daughter of Top CIA Official

The uncle of the two suspected Boston bombers in last week’s attack, Ruslan Tsarni, was married to the daughter of former top CIA official Graham Fuller . Ruslan Tsarni married the daughter of former top CIA official Graham Fuller, who spent 20 years as operations officer in Turkey, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.

In 1982 Fuller was appointed the National Intelligence Officer for Near East and South Asia at the CIA, and in 1986, under Ronald Reagan, he became the Vice-Chairman of the National Intelligence Council, with overall responsibility for national level strategic forecasting. …

Now, take a look at the most explosive aspect of this original report on Graham Fuller’s outing in the CIA Boston Terror Connection [All Emphasis Mine]:

On a more ominous note, Graham Fuller was listed as one of the American Deep State rogues on Sibel Edmonds’ State SecretsPrivilege Gallery,. Edmonds explained it featured subjects of FBI investigations she became aware of during her time as an FBI translator.

Criminal activities were being protected by claims of State Secrets, she asserted. After Attorney General John Ashcroft went all the way to the Supreme Court to muzzle her under a little-used doctrine of State Secrets, she put up twenty-one photos, with no names. One of them was Graham Fuller. …

I presented CIA’s Graham Fuller as one of the top culprits in my State Secrets Privilege Case when the government invoked the State Secrets Privilege and several additional gag orders to cover up the FBI’s investigations and files pertaining to CIA-NATO terror operations in Central Asia & the Caucasus since the mid-1990s.

Guess what? I provided this information to the US media long before it became public in 2008 via my website Not a single media outlet (including quasi and pseudo ones) was willing to touch this. And this, despite of all the gag orders, state secrets privilege invocations, congressional gag orders … you name it. I could name more than a dozen publications that said: ‘no way.’

Not only that. I have been covering one of the main CIA operation figures in Central Asia & the Caucasus-Imam Fethullah Gulen, and this Turkish Imam’s relationship and official Connections to CIA’s Graham Fuller. I’ve been doing this since 2009. Let me provide you with a few explosive examples and excerpts.

Graham Fuller, Crisis Actor Filmed Twice By CNN

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbqVqI1cWXc Perhaps budgetary restraints brought on by the Sequester forced CIA Ops Director Graham Fuller to utilize this Crisis Actor at the Boston Bombing and in Watertown where the alleged bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev Attempted to Surrender.

Watch these two videos and make up your mind before the MSM and the Regime closes the historical record forever.

I agree with you to the extent that there are examples of each thing I mentioned in isolated cases around the country, but not on a direct national scale by the federal government agents at large. I think Obama is going to try to do it directly by “executive orders”. When he does, I do think many people will resist.

If he tries to physically confiscate citizens guns directly with federal agents on a nation-wide scale, I do think there will be violence against that. Why all the gun sales and ammo sales if people are not scared of the very thing we are discussing? I don’t think people have done that just to hand it all over when asked. There must have been tremendous resistance politically to the gun-control laws recently rebuffed - even in the Dem controlled Senate!

I pray we do not have to resist with violence. I don’t want that to have to happen, it may come anyway. If it does it will not be pretty. I think there is also the possibility that UN forces will be used to quell any kind of major uprising. It is not going to be the “civil war to return us to our founding roots”. It’s going to turn into a hellish nightmare of tyranny.

The only thing to save us will be Christ’s return. I truly believe that. The only thing stopping a world-wide government and a world currency has been the United States. We will have to be removed for those things to happen.
