I’ll be happy with that. The day I can get 10,000 rds of 22LR for about 3-5 cents around. Or 5,000 rds of 9X19,223/556, 45ACP and 380, 45 COLT, etc.... for way less than a dollar a round.

Next time deals come up on these in bulk, I’m gonna stock it up and stop playing this “find the 22LR game.”

I hear you, brother.

I refuse to pay panic prices for ammo.

But, tell you what, once the panic subsides (and I’m confident it will) I *am* planning to slowly, methodically increase my inventory levels on every caliber I shoot by a factor of 10 over what I used to keep on hand.

I want as much 45 ammo as I can get. I want to see it stockpiled.

I live in Little ROck, AR, a few miles from the Remington .22 LR plant. I was there last week. They have ramped up to 7 million rounds/day in 4 shifts, 24hrs/7 days/week/359 days a year. With some adjustments and a new sorter, they can do 10 million rounds a day!

10 MILLION ROUNDS A DAY!

Where is the .22 LR ammo? In 300 days, they should have made more than enough ammo for the entire U.S.

Where is the .22 LR ammo going?!

About a year ago, .22LR was going for about 4 cents a round and 45 Colt was going for 75 cents a round (buying factory ammo).

I can now reload 45 Colt for about the same cost as .22LR.

How times have changed.
