While Rush claims to not endorse candidates, his failure to point out the warts of certain candidates is an error of omission that eventually helps give us candidates like McCain and Romney.

Does Rush have that much influence, in the end?

I remember how often Rush pointed out the flaws in McCain, played parody ads on him, practically depicted him as an escapee from a mental institution as well as a RINO.

Then, we ended up with him as the nominee in 2008 (groan!) and Rush was left having to do an (almost) 180 to defend him.
