Abbas: Palestinians who kill Jews cannot be punished
Washington Times ^ | 4/30/13 | Jessica Chasmar

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas again insisted at a two-day “Freedom and Dignity” conference in Ramallah last week that Palestinians who murder Israeli Jews cannot be punished.

The conference was to mark the 11th anniversary of Israel’s arrest of Marwan Barghouti, who, according to Israel Today, is a senior member of Abbas‘ Fatah party who was convicted of directing “numerous terrorist attacks against Israelis.”

Israel Today reports that polls show the majority of Palestinians want Mr. Barghouti for president if he is ever released.

Mr. Abbas declared that many of the Palestinians who were jailed after killing Jewish men, women and children must not be held accountable for their crimes.

Israel Today also points out the support Abbas‘ position receives from America and Europe.

If the Jews have no right(to life) that palesimians are bound to respect, then it is axiomatic that palesimians do not have that right either, IMHO..

I don't agree in wasting pig parts to make a political point. The Soviets knew how to deal with Islam.

"Six years later, in October 1985, Alpha Group was dispatched to the war-torn Beirut, Lebanon. The Kremlin was informed of the kidnapping of four Russian diplomats by the militant group Islamic Liberation Organization (a radical offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood). It was believed that this was retaliation to the Russian support of the Syrian involvement in the Lebanese Civil War.[16] However, by the time Alpha arrived, word spread that one of the hostages had already been killed.

Through a network of supporting KGB operatives, members of the task-force identified each of the perpetrators involved in the crisis, and once identified, began to take the relatives of these militants as hostages. Following the standard Soviet policy of no negotiations with terrorists, some of the hostages belonging to Alpha Group had been dismembered and their body parts where sent to the militants. The warning was clear: more would follow unless the remaining hostages are released immediately. The show of force worked, and for a period of 20 years[17] no Soviet or Russian officials were taken captive until the 2006 abduction and murder of four Russian embassy staff members in Iraq."

But it isn't a 'right'. It is a law. Their law. They are trying to get us to accept it. It won't be long before our LADY OF JUSTICE is wearing a BURKA.

That’s the philosophy of the Koran. Too bad so many are duped into thinking jihadis pervert Islam.

Mahmoud Abbas was elected in 2005. I couldn’t find how long a term he was to be elected for. But whatever it was, it’s over now. He is a civilian again. This means the Palestinian people have no elected government and therefore nobody who can deal for them as a representative they’ll follow. That means there is no “peace process.” Even if Abbas signed his name to a deal, it would mean nothing. No one is bound to follow him.

The only other government, and this one is legitimate, is Hamas. It is sworn to defeat Israel and throw the Jews into the sea. They would only sign a deal in order to gain temporary advantage and then break the deal when they had a better position from which to “negotiate” a better deal.

In the olden days, say, up through the end of World War II, nations were allowed to totally defeat and occupy an enemy they couldn’t deal with. Then they could impose terms that allowed everybody to live in peace.

I’d imagine that if we’d had CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and PBS during World War II that we’d still be suffering Nazi terror bombings and Japanese beheadings.

He is just following Sharia Law
Hadith Volume 1, Book 3, Number 111:

Narrated Ash-Sha'bi:

Abu Juhaifa said, "I asked Ali, 'Have you got any book (which has been revealed to the Prophet apart from the Qur'an)?' 'Ali replied, 'No, except Allah's Book or the power of understanding which has been bestowed (by Allah) upon a Muslim or what is (written) in this sheet of paper (with me).' Abu Juhaifa said, "I asked, 'What is (written) in this sheet of paper?' Ali replied, it deals with The Diyya (compensation (blood money) paid by the killer to the relatives of the victim), the ransom for the releasing of the captives from the hands of the enemies, and the law that no Muslim should be killed in Qisas (equality in punishment) for the killing of (a disbeliever).

The Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.' "
