Does This Boston Mural Contain a Hidden Terrorist Message? (Saw it with my own eyes last night.)

NOTE: I was driving in Boston on Atlantic Ave. late yesterday afternoon. I haven't been to that part of the city in a couple of years. All of a sudden, I spotted this HUGE mural on the side of a building. I really could not believe my eyes.

It's supposed to be a picture of a young graffiti artist, but it's clear that the artists wanted to stir up controversy.

They put the suggestion of terrorism in the mural and wanted to see who would respond and how.

Then they could deny that it was their intention to portray a terrorist, and the media could stigmatize people who saw a terrorist in the picture as "bigots" or "racists."

There's no straightforward "meaning" of the picture, but if you see a terrorist, you've picked up on more of the artists' intention than the people (and there are a lot of them online) do who ridicule or poo-poo or throw up their hands at your interpretation.

Is this pink thing over the face tethered to a assymetrical end of a gas-mask? It looses its clarity as a scarf.

It’s a blatant sign welcoming all terrorists to Boston - there bidding will done. Just like IRA was spray painted on Fed highway i93 in Boston for 25 years, welcoming the IRA while Whitey Bulger did his work with them.
