Mark Sanford sinned. We agree on that. But he has asked for forgiveness, he has requested we pardon his mistake. That is FUNDAMENTALLY different from people sinning and then asking us to accept their sins and praise them and call them ‘normal’.
I would not have voted for Sanford in any primary, though I would have forgiven him on a personal level. McLame is not only a crappy senator, he’s a crappy father too. Yeah, I went there, John. Go cry on Lindsey’s shoulder.
