Former Obama National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor has let loose on Twitter this morning, mocking the Benghazi hearing today as "amateur hour."
Vietor also mocked the hearings as conspiracy theories on par with Area 51 and the moon landings conspiracy theories:
Heard that Rep. Cummings asked Rep. Issa to include Thomas Pickering, cochair of ARB report in today's hearing, but Issa refused. #Benghazi
Why on earth would Issa refuse to let the cochair of an independent review board on #Benghazi testify at his hearing on the subject?
Could it be that today's #Benghazi hearing has nothing to do with fact-finding but is just the latest shamefully politicized Issa attack

When there is a real conspiracy the entrenched opposition typically claims that those who promote conspiracies are either hate crimers or racists, when they should be touted as patriots.
Agree.....remember, the review board investigation is now being investigated itself by the inspector general of the state dept.
So after the testimony today I guess it is very fair to say that if an embassy is attacked Obama administration officials have no adequate response mechanisms even though we taxpayers pay billions of dollars for the Pentagon to have contingency fast reaction teams available to such scenarios...... What good is having the best military in the world if your CIC will not pull the trigger. How can anybody at State Dept beleive that someone will help them if a similar situtation arises at another embassy....?

Allowed? I think it more likely he was directed be in Benghazi to meet with the Turkish delegation that very evening. That--and the attack--might well have been someone's purposeful setup against Stevens.

During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W. When Thiessen confronted National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor with the numbers, he wrote that Vietor did not dispute them, but rather dismissed them as “not particularly interesting or useful.”
“He says that the president reads his PDB every day, and he disagreed with the suggestion that there is any difference whatsoever between simply reading the briefing book and having an interactive discussion of its contents with top National Security and intelligence officials where the president can probe assumptions and ask questions,” Thiessen wrote.
In an email to TheDC, Vietor said Theissen’s revelations weren’t “exactly breaking news to anyone who has covered this place for the last few years.”
“As I told Marc, the President is among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet,” Vietor said.

Checked up on CNN tonight, watched the entire AC360 farce, then Pathetic Piers, just to make sure they are still as stupid as I thought.
Over the 2 hours, CNN had no mention AT ALL of Benghazi....not even on their pathetic low-grade crawler.
Yup. Both CNN and MSNBC completely ignoring it.
Like I said earlier, the media has ‘Gosnelled’ the hearing.

Right! Stevens met the Turkish delegation before the attack. No mention so far of the gun running, or the searching for the missing 3000 anti aircraft missles, or whatever arms Ghadaffi had. Running arms to Syrian opposition forces. This story has disappeared from the investigation. Keep this allegation in the news!
After watching some portions of the hearing yesterday which provided much new insight into the attack and the administrations dealing with it - I was amazed to open this mornings newspaper (Cincinnati Enquirer) and not find one story - nothing - about the hearing or Benghazi.
I guess they concluded it doesn’t matter.
People have really exposed themselves, under Obama’s reign, for the unthinking- shallow bootlickers they really are in their hearts.
The mockery is a Saul Alinksy thing- and it does work. But more and more people are waking up. The more bizarre they have to turn up their frequency to mock- the more they know they are are losing power.
It is just a matter of time before this guy gets what is coming his way.
