I really have a strong feeling about Gowdy. He is smart, clever, and tough as nails. He would be a dynamic Speaker. Any ideas?
Have a revolution.
I don’t know, but I favor it. (He reminds me of Barry Pepper who played the sniper in Saving Private Ryan.)
I’m in...tell me what to do!! The man is what we need!
How senior is he?
bttt
He is wicked smart. I watched him questioning Napolitano over Fast and Furious, and he crushed her with specific policies on warrants, wire-tapping, cross-border operations.
I’d love to see a change in speaker. Gowdy, Gohmert, Chaffitz, Allen West, or even Newt would be wonderful alternatives to the weak capitulator, Boehner.
Hello? We don’t get to elect them.
That’s what I want to know. Anyone, any idea how to get something like this started?. I really feel he would produce a conservative agenda beyond our wildest dreams.
Gowdy took office in 2011. Boehner has been in congress since 1991. Unfortunately, at this stage, seniority trumps guts.
I like Trey Gowdy as much as I despise John Boehner.
He really knows his facts and can express them very well. He would have organization and run that place in an orderly fashion. Really impressed with him.
So far I like what I see and her but ... from his bio, “he also serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security for the Judiciary Committee.” Let’s see where he stands on the House side of Rubio’s bill before we send up the white smoke.
Dunno, I rather Gowdy primary Lindsay Graham.
So that means we might have a chance in 2033 to get someone effective?. That is ridiculous.
Henry Clay was elected Speaker on his first day in Congress!
Unfortunately, things have changed since the 1800s. I’m not saying its impossible, (let’s see if conservatives can gain House seats in 2014) but Cantor wants to be speaker. It’s like our recent presidential primaries.
“My turn! My turn!”
Three reasons why he won't be speaker.
