HOW TO RECRUIT TREY GOWDY AS HOUSE SPEAKER?
Vanity

I really have a strong feeling about Gowdy. He is smart, clever, and tough as nails. He would be a dynamic Speaker. Any ideas?

I have an idea almost anything would be better than what we have.

Ok, then if we can’t have him as speaker, how about POTUS?

When he was in the House. He had already served previously in the Senate (and before that served as Speaker of the KY House, so he wasn’t a “n00b”).

Well, the Speaker is elected by House members, and unless an overwhelming number of House Repubs went along with it, I doubt it would happen. Also I am convinced the Boner & some of the other RINO's would flip over to the DemoRATs rather then be ousted by a staunch, Tea Party conservative.

They were all good...

I liked the questions from Jim Jordan of Ohio, he was on the ball.

Imagine this: Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz in the White House, Trey as speaker and Rand Paul as majority leader.

The only Constitutional requirement for Speaker of the House is that he or she be voted in by the majority party. If enough Republicans voted for it, any one of us could be Speaker. That stated, this guy seems like a true conservative so the GOPe will never go for it.

I don’t know how Boner could flip any further left.

Too bad he’s already married. I’d like to recruit him to be my husband!

Seriously though, I’d prefer him as Attorney General rather than Speaker but I’d be happy with him in either position. Time to weed out the limp-wristed, do-nothing RINOs.
