"Texas is leading the nation in economic growth and job creation because of principled, conservative leaders who understand the keys to economic success are lower, flatter taxes, limited government and restrained spending,' he added. "Texas has shown the country how it's done, and we hope the President will take some of these lessons back to Washington to bring true economic recovery to our nation." Texas Senator Ted Cruz

Coincidences rarely occur in politics, and one cannot ignore the fact that Obamas trip to Texas comes just on the heels of Governor Perrys high-profile biotech prospecting mission to the Presidents once-home state of Illinois, as well as the Texas Governors trip to the Silicon Valley, both of which were considered to be successful in further advancing the migration of technology companies from struggling blue states into Texas. Wielding the bully pulpit, the President may seek to utilize his trip to Texas as a political gambit of sorts And it is one that everyone here sees right through. little bammy hopes to rub a little Texas success on his scrawny pathetic azz but all this will do is sharpen the contrast between his communism and the Free Market economics that is Texas.
Some words you wont hear: Battleground Texas, an effort by several Obama campaign veterans to relocate in the state and begin a project aimed at turning reliably Republican Texas blue. Said Carney: People sometimes in Washington see everything through an electoral lens are true, but I can guarantee you that is not what this is about.
Right, sure thing Carney. He would lie about a fork left on a table and call it a spoon if he thought it would help The Master, King Hussein.
They are all worse-than-worthless s**t stains with crumblies on America.

Oh Boy! I bet the Democrat and liberal Obama supporters or buying out all of the KY Jelly and “happy slickums” in town just waiting for the big party and the chance to see one of their own kind.
Obama doesn’t know that the city of Austin is not really part of Texas. It was planted there by San Francisco back in the 70’s........and the rest is history.

Heard there may be some very large hail in Texas today too. Now, it'd be a dirty damn' shame if a "very large hail" hit Herr Obama firmly on his head, rendering him unconscious until January 2017.

Austin is beautiful...and the music on 6th street is some of the best always.
To: rktman
I know I am late to this but if you think Rick Perry would snub the President of the United States as he visits Texas, you do not know one thing about Rick Perry.
To: x1stcav
I beg to differ. I love Austin. It is a wonderful and very successful city. The people are great. A really great place to visit....music and restaurants cant be beat either.
